Ive play-tested my Narset deck that i have had as soon as she was spoiled and i think this deck would have alot of problems getting off if your playing against a good play group. You have 5 counter spells that you are counting to draw in a 100 card deck with no card draw or top deck manipulation. If you are playing against anyone and they play a 4/4 before you can attack with Narset, Enlightened Master she will die. Not to mention you have 21 mana rocks in a deck that casts cards for free. I would say that the only reason to not use creatures is Proteus Staff in order to stack your deck. The only problem is that i tried it and its too slow.

Again im not trying to sound negative at all. I just feel that sometimes i need others opinion before i really figure out what i want.

I do have to say your land base is ridiculous. Congrats on the value.

and i would tend to disagree with TheWaltSpot. Counterspells are the only thing saving Narset, Enlightened Master from being tucked at the bottom of the deck with cards like Hinder , Spell Crumple , Terminus and Hallowed Burial . Although, he is right about Jace the mindsculptor.

@Komamura there are reasons that I have built the deck in this way, the deck is more explosive than consistent. There are a lot of mana rocks in the deck to power out narset as quickly as possible turn 3 or 4 is average. The idea is that I can attack into 4/4's because of the burn removal and damage doublers . Everything triggers when she attacks and I jammed as many instants into the deck as possible so that I can use the spells as soon as possible. Narset has first strike so I can use burn in tandem with her. Because I will be casting her quickly there shouldn't be that many creatures out . If she does die the mana rocks will help to power her out again.

Im not saying that your way of making the deck is wrong. Its just different, and we both have different play groups that we play against. So some cards may be situationally better than others. In my eyes, I love the fact that we can both have completely different decks while having the same commander. Its freshens edh up alot. I'll be sure to come back with suggestions if i find some cool interaction while playing my deck.

ether way, have a nice day.

Kool beans. Thought you wanted explanations and such. Wondering what you meant about counter spells, my thoughts were you don't want to many because they don't do to much off of narset but just enough so that sometimes you have it some times you don't. Makes em think. Ways give a moments pause.

ya, and even if they arent great with the generals trigger... i think they are worth being able to reliably get what you want out there. All it takes is one counterspell to completely turn an opponents plans upside down.

I can vouch for Generator Servant being just what the deck needs. acceleration plus haste is downright awesome in a speed oriented deck.

Other burns you may consider are Mindblaze Searing Wind Ignite Memories .

+1 For deck name!

Searing Wind looks epic a definitive addition to the deck. I'm not to keen on sorcery speed burn because it just isn't as versatile. Ignite Memories could probably take the place of Grapeshot it depends. Thanks!

You need basic lands; your fetches aren't doing anything except hurting you.
