When I first saw that price tag, I was like" Da Fuq?! Then I played with the numbers. Taking out the flashier, less than necessary artifacts, as well as land, and I got it down to about $200. I've REALLY got to ask. Why is Ravages of War $500-$600 when Armageddon is about $5? They are literally the same thing.

Love this deck, and found an infinite turn combo. I got it turn 32, my only card left in the library was Beacon of Tomorrows. Just take extra turns until everyone else scoops. +1. Also, Vergil_Redgrail, I think it is so expensive because of how hard it is to get, like how the portal cards are more expensive, even with the same effects as cheaper versions.

@ninjaman16782 really like that interaction with Beacon of Tomorrows.
@Vergil_Redgrail this is a non-budget version. alot of the money goes into making the deck more consistent.

To be fair his paper version is a foil Narset and 99 empty sleeves, very budget friendly.

If you're paying $200 for Foil Narsets, i've got a playset for you.

An easy way to get infinite turns is with Enter the Infinite and just put Beacon of Tomorrows on top of of your library, swing, cast, repeat during extra turns.
Another easy way to do it is since Narset is the only Creature in the deck, use Proteus Staff and put Narset on the bottom of your library, reveal until you reveal her, put her into play (most likely she should be given haste somehow) and sort your deck out with Beacon of Tomorrows always second from the top (do this after casting a card that'll give you an extra turn, draw a card on your extra turn, and Beacon of Tomorrows should be exiled with Narset every time).

I originally had Proteus Staff in the deck but you can only use it as a sorcery so I decided not to put it in the deck. I didn't put Omniscience or Enter the Infinite in the deck for no reason really i instead put cards like Searing Wind and Thunderous Wrath because they are instants.

But as long as you're getting extra turns, Proteus Staff at Sorcery speed isn't bad since it'll always be your turn.
Searing Wind isn't a bad hit with Narset.
Maybe add Leyline of Anticipation or Vedalken Orrery to give your stuff Flash, so you don't have to worry about playing at Sorcery speed?

Since you like rituals I wonder why you're not including Seething Song.
I see that it's very important for you to have instant speed answers, and you're right. However Leyline of Anticipation can still make a big difference. For example, casting Cataclysm or Gratuitous Violence mid-combat.
I don't think you should be restricting yourself to burn spells, since they don't deal with every threat need to face (for example PWs, tax effects like Ghostly Prison, and other annoying noncreature cards like No Mercy and Lightmine Field). A red staple that you are missing is Chaos Warp. Instant speed, targets any permanent and effects even Indestructibles, which you can currently only interact with Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Oblation.
Also, may I suggest the split second mechanic? It's just too good to cast a spell that your opponents can't respond to. Wipe Away and Word of Seizing are both instant speed, split second and target any permanent in the game.
Lastly, since you cast a ridiculous amount of spells per turn I'd suggest inclding some storm spells. Mind's Desire lets you cast more stuff from your deck, Temporal Fissure targets any permanent (meaning you can Cyclonic Rift the opponents' lands away leaving them helpless to defend), Ignite Memories finishes games since no one wants to play without a hand, and Empty the Warrens gives you a gigantic goblin army and has synergy with Gratuitous Violence + Time Stretch to deal a ton of damage. Of course, if you like the traditional burn route, there's always Grapeshot, which might be sorcery speed but can be split across any number of targets and is usually much larger than your current burn average. And with a cost of 1R you can even cast it from hand.
Hope I was helpful!

I wouldn't call empty the warrens/GV/extra turns synergy. That's just good.

May I suggest Enter the Infinite and Omniscience? :)

Seething Song is a card that i forgot to put in.
Crucible of Worlds should definitely have a place found for it
the white removal is definitely a good idea
the Enter the Infinite + Omniscience combo is something that I generally don't run it mostly a personal preference.
thanks for all the advice

the storm cards do make a lot of sense with the extra battle phase cards but not the extra turn cards, but that isn't the reason I'm not running them. It's mostly because the burn is way to much fun especially with the damage doublers.

I love this deck. +1
I'm thinking of building a Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest deck and would love your input/thoughts on that.

Hey, I just built my first Narset commander deck. Would you be able to take a look at it and help me improve it? I'm trying to keep the price down as far as I can while still keeping it a good deck. Narset, the Friendly Master

Not necessarily I got the dual lands and shock lands and if everything goes correctly there won't be a need for to many land drops
