HOLLA! How would it do against a hijack deck, I made one and it seems that I would capture your creatures, then you would use you removal on your own creatures?
February 24, 2018 7:28 a.m.
I have no problem killing every single one of my Creatures.
Or my Planeswalker.
You have no way of stopping the Aftermath of Cut / Ribbons.

I think that there should be more Unlicensed Disintegrations in the mainboard. But it's a pretty cool deck!
February 26, 2018 7:38 a.m.
Maaagic for what reason?
The removal I have in the Mainboard is cheaper than Unlicensed Disintegration, and gets rid of most stuff.
Extra Unlicensed Disintegration only comes in if I'm facing a lot of bigger end Creatures, that Magma Spray or Fatal Push aren't useful against.

Holla! Wow, looks great! What are your thoughts on 1 Burning Sun's Avatar Flip?

Also, would Trespasser's Curse be right for this deck?
February 27, 2018 1:24 a.m.
Flooremoji since I'm going for Control, I prefer Glorybringer, which is cheaper and does 1 more damage to Creatures, and Tetzimoc, Primal Death, which can kill more than one Creature for more, plus has Deathtouch.
There are three Creatures that could easily be played in this deck, instead of the ones I have chosen.
They are Rekindling Phoenix, Noxious Gearhulk, and Burning Sun's Avatar Flip.
I just happen to find Glorybringer, and Tetzimoc more to my liking.
Thanks for the Holla!

Flooremoji I would rather be able to flat out kill a Creature, with one of my 2CMC spells, than get 1 life while my Opponent loses 1.
That kind of equation provides less value as the game goes on, unless you are playing against a Token deck.
Even Merfolk will outrace it, as they pump each other up.
At the moment no one at my LGS is playing Tokens.
I'll keep the card in mind, if that kind of deck becomes popular in the future.

so i added Gifted Aetherborn and Gonti, Lord of Luxury and Unlicensed Disintegration and lands to the mainboard and added an Arguel's Blood Fast Flip and Abrade and Duress to the side, hopefully it will handle better than last week, ill send you the list if it worked tomorrow in the showdown .

Love the deck! It has a great top curve with still the best removal package in Standard! It's amazing to me how effective Cut is as a card when it's other side is used. Does this deck have a way of dealing with Carnage Tyrant? R/G Monsters are likely to be more common after their first place finish at Memphis.
March 8, 2018 12:35 p.m.
Never mind. I forgot about all of the deathtouch creatures you have along with Lost Legacy. Really love how versatile the deck is!

Thanks, Pabs4444.
Bontu's Last Reckoning can also knock Carnage Tyrant for six. Sometimes Gonti, Lord of Luxury grabs it, too.

I like this deck. I am curious as to the number of Bontu's Last Reckoning. Do you find that you need all four in the sideboard?
Oh, and "Holla!"
March 12, 2018 3:28 p.m.
Twilight Prophet might due well as a copy in the sideboard in place of 1 Bontu's Last Reckoning. Has your meta shifted to more control like the rest of the overall meta? I just know you have asked about issues against mirror matches due to how much dead cards you have.
March 12, 2018 5:35 p.m.
Yeah I need all the Bontu's Last Reckoning against the Mefolk and Dino Decks in my meta.
I don't recall ever talking about dead cards in this deck.
I only have one mirror match in my local meta.
March 12, 2018 6:12 p.m.
It's nice your meta is Tribal. That's always fun! Love the deck, as you know. Just thought a playlet off Bontu wasn't as needed with Tetzimoc, Primal Death as a board wipe as well as all of the deathtouch creatures you have. I just thought either Glorybringer or Twilight Prophet could take the place of one of the board wipes. Anyways, you know how the deck runs against your meta better than anyone. Thanks for such an awesome deck!
March 12, 2018 10:35 p.m.
Glorybringer, Tetzimoc, Primal Death, and Twilight Prophet don't do anything against Carnage Tyrant.
They are also not very effective against Merfolk as they come out too late to effectively shut them down.
Hence the four of Bontu's Last Reckoning.

Maybe consider Rekindling Phoenix? Would probably help out in those grindier games. Might be a little slow for what this deck feels like though.
Then again, an excuse to always have a 4/3 flyer is not a bad inclusion imo

Yeah i thought as much, but i figure it's still worth stating.

Has this had any testing since Goblin Chainwhirler has become part of the metagame?
