Maybeboard

Red Midrange with Flameshadow Conjuring for spice.

Flameshadow creates a token with haste when you play a creature, running lots of ETB creatures is what it wants. Luckily, red has lots of good ETB creatures like Fury and Spyro.

Creatures:

  • Fury: When you copy this you create a copy with haste that can attack for 6 right away. Plus the 8 combined damage from its effect will break boards before it attacks. Evoking this is free, so if Flameshadow is out you get the 4 extra damage for free.

  • Seasoned Pyromancer: Two 2/2's plus four 1/1 tokens, discard 4, draw 4. Whats not to like.

  • Goblin Rabblemaster: You summon a normal rabblemaster, two 1/1's, and a potential 4/2 rabblemaster with haste.

  • Squee: After a few people mention its synergy with Fury and Spyro Im sold. You can pitch it to the above for free. Its immune to Solitude and provides a threat control cannot deal with.

  • Bonecrusher: Not much to be said. Its removal and a body. Still great with Flameshadow, a 4/3 with haste is good.

  • Obsidian Charmaw: Two 4/4's, destroy two lands. If played on curve you win. With amulet and 4C seeing more play it should be good.

  • Glorybringer: Like Charmaw, two 4/4's, but with 8 damage attached when they attack. This is copies 5-6 of Fury.

  • Atsuchi: Just testing it out, due to the legend rule and having a death trigger no value is lost on Flameshadow making a token.

Spells:

  • Blood Moon: Yeah, its good. No description needed.

  • Cleansing Wildfire: Ramp off the indestructible lands. Play a T3 Flameshadow.
