This is a combo prison deck. The prison aspect seeks to limit access to mana through Winter Orb and deny/limit attacks through Moat, Ghostly Prison, and Earthquake.

The combo is through use of Mana Flare/Heartbeat of Spring and Candelabra of Tawnos/Magus of the Candelabra such that you can work around the Winter Orb to untap all of your lands, generate a huge amount of mana and deliver a lethal Banefire strike to your opponent.
