This is my second attempt at a competitive Prophet of Kruphix deck. The first attempt was a little too gimmicky, and didn't hold much water if Prophet wasn't around. However with recent additions to help give us value and consistency, we get to play with Kalonian Hydra and Chord of Calling for two months!

The 'main' combo is Kalonian Hydra + Twinflame for 32 trampling damage. Things to help it out are flashing K hydra in, and now Chord of calling it out of the deck. This two card combo is ridiculously good.

Twinflame was a card I was already liking, but now that we have a sac outlet with Life's Legacy the card holds more water then just being more pressure.

Soul of New Phyrexia is PERFECT for this deck. It's a 6/6 trampler, which is a great target for twinflame, AND it gives us protection from boardwipes. Which is huge, since we have a lot of mana to use.

Xenagos and Kiora are awesome. They help with mana if we need it, and or can provide pressure if needed. Hydra Broodmaster has a lot of synergy with Prophet of Kruphix, getting his monstrous off easy, or just being a bomb in general.

Hornet Nest and Polukranos as 1-of Chord targets. Hornet Nest for defensive plays, and Polukranos for offensive plays earlier when we don't have enough mana to chord for bigger things.
