I don't even know...
I guess I just wanted to use Keranos in a deck, and RUG seemed like the color scheme that could have the most fun with him.
Due to Quicken and Prophet of Kruphix, everything in this deck that doesn't already have flash can get it. Being able to play everything on your opponents turn is always fun, and with all the card draw this deck utilizes, Prophet of Kruphix allows you to tap out on your turn, untap, and still have plenty to do on theirs.
Prognostic Sphinx
is a hard to remove threat that lets you set up draws and dig for answers, not to mention fly right over most creatures. With all the card draw in this deck, dumping a card to save him from a kill spell is pretty easy to do, making him a great win con.
Horizon Chimera allows you to gain life.He synergizes really well with all the card draw we have in the deck, not to mention he's a flyer, so he'll go over most decks for damage.
Mizzium Mortars is just a solid removal spell that can really throw the oppenent off when combined with a Quicken
Prophet of Kruphix is just a ridiculously fun card to play with, allowing you to flash in all of your creatures and keep up mana for instants on your oppenents turn. It's just too fun to pass up.
Turn / Burn
is a great removal for the bigger threats to this deck like Desecration Demon and Arbor Colossus, who can block and kill our flyers with no problem.
Thassa, God of the Sea is great for setting up the draws in this deck for Keranos, God of Storms triggers, and she's pretty easy to turn into a creature with all the U symbols we have lying around.
And of course Polukranos, World Eater is just a beater with built in removal. I'm honestly not sure about having him in here, but it seems ok, especially with Prophet letting me flash him in.
