ok, since you're on such an enchantment heavy theme here are some suggestions

Armament of Nyx doesn't do all that much when all of your enchantment creatures have 2 or 0 power, so either add some ways to pump them like Ethereal Armor /Unflinching Courage or put in some more controlling enchantments like Sphere of Safety or Heliod, God of the Sun to be able to draw at will off of Eidolon of Blossoms and always have something to do with your mana each turn.

Also you probably want Mistcutter Hydra or Loxodon Smiter in the sideboard for control games.

Interesting deck though +1.

jchudz I had been think of those exact cards to be honest. I have actually also been considering Skybind but i dont know how well it would work and what I should take out

Nioce, control without the blue, I like it.

If you want to use Skybind I'd recommend using Boon Satyr to flash on your opponents turn.

I combo Armada Wurm with Skybind in my The Riker Maneuver. deck. =)

Caligula i was just looking at your deck lol. Boon satyr is a little too expensive for me and normally I am tapping out on my turn for my enchantments. What I was considering was using skybind to exile their lands, it combos pretty nicely with Soul Tithe

Soul Tithe is good for sure

Mortal Obstinacy is a decent little enchant for 1 cost and has the enchant removal.Maybe Oppressive Rays for some board lockdown as well.

Solid deck though

actually, now that i look at it, a lot of the controlling enchantments you have are auras, so maybe a few Eidolon of Countless Battles could be a decent win condition

I personally don't like Soul Tithe . Yeah it's a 2 mana removal, but it's at sorcery speed. But as of right now I can't think of anything better, since it hits everything. Though I don't see how you think Soul Tithe combos with Skybind . If you play Soul Tithe and exile one of their lands, then at your end step their land comes back, meaning they have it back in time to pay the upkeep cost...

snowwhitelion you are right, for some reason i thought it stayed exile till their end step. There is a reason why I only run three Soul Tithe

Always enjoy a good pillow-fort deck. I must ask though, what is your plan against control? You have maybe three cards (2x Elspeth + 1x Heliod) that they actually care about, the rest can be ignored or dealt with in a somewhat off-hand manner, and your sideboard in its current configuration offers no help. If you just play against aggressive decks this seems fine, otherwise I could see you having some issues.

You would actually be suprised at how fast this deck can ramp into a big creature. Thus I side board out my Pacifism , and Oppressive Rays for Deicide , and Rootborn Defenses . Deicide is so I can take out those D-spheres, and rootborn is good against supreme. This deck is easily able to keep up with card draw through Eidolon of Blossoms . Playing agaisnt control is all about waiting for the right moments to play your spells. I have been considering taking out Celestial Flare for Pithing Needle though to counteract all those planeswalkers and also Pack Rat

What do you mean ramp into a big creature? Heliod is literally your only big creature, and it isn't really a creature. You also don't really have any creature threats to protect with Rootborn Defenses, except possibly Eidolon (which isn't a threat per say).

One ethereal armor on any of your creatures and it jumps up in stength especially since everything I play is an enchantment. Put armament of nyx and now they have double strike. Ajani also allows you to pump any of your creatures.

Yes this is true. Still, there are reasons that UWx control has been such a successful contender in recent standard. They run counters, sweepers, targeted removal spells, powerful planeswalkers, good card draw. I am not saying it is impossible, or even necessarily very difficult for you to defeat control decks, I am just saying that you have a lot of dead cards in those match ups and they have a lot of answers to what you are doing. You planning to win via Ethereal Armor on a creature, possibly backed up with an Armament is fine, but it is not a recipe for the entire matchup. Test it, you will get some idea of what I am saying.

Believe me I know, my meta is nothing but people who net deck esper control. The thing is every deck has a problem with control, its what its supposed to do. Ethereal armor and armament are not the only win cons. Sometimes even a simple mutavault can win the game against control. There are two ways to win against control, defeat them early, or hope you can beat them late. I will admit control is the worst matchup for this deck I know that, however I tried to choose sideboard cards that would be viable against control and other decks as well.

Sounds reasonable. Your card advantage from Eidolon will certainly give you a leg up compared to many decks, you can perhaps power through their removal just by sheer # of cards. Also love all the sheep vids ;)

Ok wow. I love it. Especially the description. But seriously, I think this deck is sweet. The sheep thing is an interesting idea and I think it totally works. I tried something similar with the Pacifism-type auras and it worked pretty well.

cerealkyra says... #18

Why do you want Mana Confluence in a two colour deck? I know you're gaining life from the sheep every turn but there's nothing listed that is too mana intensive.

I like the deck though, +1'd

It's for the sideboard of Ready / Willing being able to Fuze it and use the second ability is actually very helpful. Especially when facing hexproof decks. Your spells can't hit them and when they attack the last they suspect is making your guys indestructible with death touch

I feel like this is a Sphinx's Revelation deck. A ton of cheap permanents will ensure your card advantage is relevant. I also think cards like Oppressive Rays , Pacifism and Soul Tithe don't belong here, it feels like you're all-in on the enchantment part and you only really need 4-5 enchantments down + elspeth to disable your opponent. The blue splash also allows you to run Detention Sphere .

Kruphix's Insight is great in this deck. Makes a good card draw engine.
