So this should come as no surprise to anybody, but Merfolk have a lot of great ETB effects. I think it's worth a white splash for some flicker effects and Path. See normally if a Master of Waves were to leave the battlefield, all of the tokens would die. But with Cloudshift , the state based actions of the tokens aren't checked until after the entire card resolves. So before the spell there is a Master, and after the spell there is a Master. Old tokens stay, and you get a bunch of new tokens. Pretty sweet. Work in Progress.
