This deck was my introduction to magic and has become my favorite for 1on1 duels. You summon griffons, you fly over the opponents defense, or you use the ETB effects everything has to boost your own attacks or to re-summon cards you've already played. Better yet, all at once.

Originally I was going after the griffons, and this was almost a mono white deck, but after I realized the sphinx's scrying and etb effects could help the deck I added them in. From there I realized I liked ETB, so I started focusing on that in addition to searching for more griffon cards. I like griffons in general.

This is a budget deck because I was basically working on a deck builder's toolkit, and five theros packs when I first built it. I've traded for a few cards but it's mostly the same. (that's what budget means, right?)
