The goal is to use the flip trigger on Thing in The Ice and keep a small army of horror creatures to have on board when you do flip.

The Win Condition

Thing in the Ice   and his Horror buddies are the focus of the deck. We want to be able to flip Thing in the Ice   into Awoken Horror while ideally having a pumped Chasm Skulker or two on the board. The goal is to really just keep resetting any progress your opponents make with the flip to Awoken Horror. Naturally, you can try to combo out Natural Affinity to bounce all lands back to their owner's hands too. This would reset your opponents progress even further while you still maintain a couple of fatties on the board.

Support

• Chasm Skulker is a pretty rude creature who will stay on the board after the Awoken Horror bounce. And even when he dies, you are due some token creatures. There is a lot of draw in this deck to get Chasm Skulker as big and nasty as possible (Brainstorm, Ponder, Wharf Infiltrator, etc).

• The back up to the Thing in the Ice plan is to go all out on casting instants and sorceries to trigger Talrand, The Sky Summoner and Docent of Perfection  . This is essentially plan B, as pursuing one of these and the Thing in the Ice trigger works against itself (The Thing in the Ice flip bounce would return whatever tokens you generated, plus Talrand and Docent themselves).

Weaknesses

The deck is pretty strong overall and benefits greatly from having as much draw as it does. The deck does lack a life gain component, so that might something where you use Elixir of Immortality instead of Quest for Ancient Secrets. Also, flying creatures can be difficult to deal with if you don't have Talrand or a Final Iteration. There isn't much in the way of removal in this deck, so you may benefit if you want to throw in a pair of Cyclonic Rift cards.
