Any particular reason for Pay No Heed over Holy Day I feel like using pay no head is really only better against say, bolt. Also, how will you combat Fatal Push?

maddoxmtg, thanks for the questions. I am using Pay No Heed over Holy Day because Pay No Heed can prevent damage from a hexproof creature as is does not target. It can also prevent damage from Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle in Scapeshift decks. And it can protect my creatures from damage dealing cards like Conflagrate in Dredge decks.
While Fatal Push is a very strong card for Modern, I find that single target removal isn't as strong against my Soul Sisters deck because of the number of creatures it contains. Cards like Supreme Verdict or Wrath of God are far more destructive to my deck's game plan. However, Make a Stand is in the sideboard and is brought in against removal-heavy control decks. Do you have any suggestions for dealing with Fatal Push?

darleen Holy Day doesn't target either. Hexproof has protection from spells that say "target" that is targeting the creature. While I get that Pay No Heed can choose Valakut, Holy Day is way better against the more commonly found Burn or Stompy decks.
maddoxmtg Fatal Push won't really kill soul sisters as it is a weenie deck and single target removal isn't very helpful when they have multipleBoardsmall creatures. As darleen said, boardwipes are more destructive to the deck's gameplan.

Well Yahenni's Expertise will hurt a lot then. Cast expertise, kills most stuff then use the free spell to shoot a single large target.

maddoxmtg, Yahenni's Expertise or Languish would be harmful to my deck and -X/-X effects are hard to prevent. However, by the time my opponents are able to cast those four mana costing spells, there is a decent likelihood, thanks to +1/+1 counters, that my creatures will be large enough to survive. Also, when playing against control decks, I try not to load up my board with too many creatures to avoid being devastated by a boardwipe. Additionally, with 28 one to two mana costing creatures creatures in the deck and my lifegain prolonging the game I am usually able to rebuild my board state quickly.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying my Soul Sisters build will defeat every deck every time. I just think it has an above average performance and deserves more credit than people give to the archetype. After 29 matches I have a win rate of 58.62% with this deck. That's pretty decent if you consider that my win rate would be slightly above to 65% if it weren't for a couple of misplays and missed triggers on my part that caused me to lose a few games. And considering that I have only been playing Modern for three months. In the hands of a more experienced player, this deck could probably perform better, but of course, it still has weakness like every deck does.

Just wondering how do you combat decks that go for a more dominating midrange configuration. From when I did some testing VS my midrange life gain angels I found that past turn 4 I was unable to do anything of significant impact. Also before that while I was able to deal early damage it quickly was healed off. pphhaazzee, thanks for the comment. Generally my Souls Sisters are alittle too fast for most Mid-Range strategies. However, I haven't faced another lifegain deck like your's. Without Abzan Falconer on the battlefield my deck could be weak to your fliers so you may have the advantage in that respect.

This may also sound silly, but on sidebars I like having two different cards that do the same thing rather than two of the same thing. For instance, Grafdigger's Cage and Rest in Peace vs two Rest in Peace.
Advantage? Stopping cast from Libraries, while also having that exile. Just my opinion of something better.
Disadvantage? Not always getting the graveyard exile.
Its a trade but a good one.

landstalker10, Archangel of Thune isn't in the deck simply due to budget constraints and I am using Mikaeus, the Lunarch because his mana cost is more flexible. I agree that Archangel of Thune would be a powerful addition, although by the time I have five mana available, I usually have +1/+1 counters on most of my creatures.
Regarding my sideboard, personally I think Grafdigger's Cage is more narrow and limited than Rest in Peace. Because it triggers lifegain for me, I'm not really worried about creatures being returned from the graveyard like against Dredge for example. But I see your point, variety in the sideboard could offer a better defense.

You missed the cast cards from libraries. Aka cards that reveal top card. Both Rest and Graf removed GY casting.

Inspiring Call not just for the card draw, but also for the indestructible. Yes this belongs in your main deck, but you absolutely should place it in your side since you already have splashed green.
Another consideration is Elite Scaleguard. Not sure if applying this one would break your deck due to card exchanges. It, however; is interesting to consider.
Also, if you want Thune and cannot afford her. A cheap solution to try out how it would work is Cathars' Crusade. Nearly exact same results.
All are very cheap so no huge loss in trying them out.

I run a budget version online, and cards like Precinct Captain, Hanweir Militia Captain Flip, & Doomed Traveler can be great depending on the matchup. Running 1-2 mainboard Return to the Ranks adds a ton for my deck and I highly recommend it.

This seems kinda spicy. I would recommend some number of Brave the Elements to protect your creatures. It also acts a pseudo evasion as you can make it hard for your opponents to block. I'd also suggest you look into the Martyr of Sands and Serra Ascendant package. In my Soul Sisters build I can often have 35 life on turn 2 with Ascendant up to block.

I like the deck, although is having 8 fetches and 2 shock lands worth the 2 gavony townships in the deck?, while i agree that you're life total obviously isn't a problem. It seems a bit odd without anything in the sideboard/mainboard to facilitate green mana.

ktbh4jc, thanks for the suggestions. I've mentioned it before (see the comment achieve), but I tend to play out my hand too quickly for Martyr of Sands to have any value. It's especially dead in the late game. I was running Serra Ascendant originally but I was never able to active them because they were removed right away or because I couldn't stay at more than 30 life long enough. With regard to Brave the Elements, it was in the sideboard but I replaced it with Make a Stand and Pay No Heed. Protection doesn't stop boardwipes which are the most devastating to game plan. Pay No Heed can protect my creatures from damage based effects as well as protect me from Infect or Scapeshift decks. Plus I can already give my creatures evasion with Abzan Falconer, the deck's main win condition.

PeeBee, I would be running the Fetches regardless of Gavony Township in order to thin the deck for better later game draws. I originally had green cards in the sideboard but replaced them with white alternatives to make the deck run more smoothly. Since there are only two Gavony Townships I don't prioritize fetching a Shock land one turn one or two so I haven't been in a situation where I immediately lose three life. Gavony Township is more of a back-up way to put counters on all my creatures to help make Abzan Falconer more effective.

Hey I was toying around and two cards I kept coming back to, Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit which you may or may not have considered and Metallic Mimic which probably would break the deck adding in. But Ana would was awesome for wipe recoveries.

I like the deck a lot! +1 from me. I think I may end up building this deck and I really appreciate the "Archtype Breakdown" you have, it helps greatly. I would strongly recommend Blessed Alliance because I think it's very underrated, has many options but the most relevant is the sacrifice (perfect against infect and slippery bogle decks) or you can even untap Mikaeus or the falconer after you outlast or to simply swing out and have a surprise two blockers for your opponent. Either way Blessed Alliance is strictly better than Celestial Flare. Good luck!
