My newest addition to the EDH roster is Esper Skies, a deck commanded by Dromar, the Banisher. Of the five EDH decks I own in paper, this is the most straightforward and refreshing in its simplicity. The goal is to play creatures and turn them sideways.

Esper Skies is a riff on the Blue Skies archetype and can be considered "flying tribal". Cards like Favorable Winds, Gravitational Shift, Warden of Evos Isle, and Thunderclap Wyvern are the anthem/lords.

Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, Deepfathom Skulker, etc give all of our creatures a nice Curiosity effect, which happens to mesh really well with the built in evasiveness of flying!

There aren't any combos, or super-secret tech. It's just some cool flyers and damage triggers to draw cards and that is absurdly fun to play. My hope is that one day a Moat will find its way into the 99.
