Sideboard

This deck is in my favorite color combination, I often force these colors in standard and sometimes modern. If there is a viable deck that is both Black and White I will make it and play the crap out of it. Most of the time it ends up being a mid level deck with only a few good cards and a tone of mana issues.

But this time it is a Power house of card advantage and longevity. I have chosen my creatures carefully to keep me alive while I Thoughtsieze and Sign in Blood through my opponents hand, and my own deck. Creatures like Seeker of the Way , Wingmate Roc, and Brutal Hordechief keep me alive. The later two offering evasive damage and all three having hard to deal with abilities. All of my creatures brandish a power of 3 or less offering a good clock and protection from cards like Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Reprisal , but all have a toughness of 3+(Seeker included with the often triggered Prowess) to keep out of most burn spell ranges. Yes, Stoke the Flames is a real card, but if they are going to waste it on a creature, they have already lost. The 4th Seeker seems to be giving me a little trouble, I often see one too many seekers when any other spell would be good. I want to replace it, but with another threat. I need suggestions on what I could put into Seeker's place(Just the 4th one, I am keeping the other 3).

A couple of cards I have thought about putting in but don't really know how to fit in are: Lightform Monastery MentorElspeth, Sun's Champion

One card that did more work than any other at my last FNM was Brutal Hordechief . Once he hits the field he will either win me the game or soak up a Kill/Burn spell. I haven't had the chance to use his ability because the game either ends or he does before I can untap.

Hopefully this helps others find their own lists. Thanks for looking. Happy hunting.

I went 4-0-1 at one of my LGS. my Draw was to a very grindy and slow Abzan list, we went to time, Time was called just before I had finished my turn so his started the 5 extra giving me only 2 and him 3 turns. if it had been reversed I would have Won.

I defeated 2 RDWs, A R/G Midrange Deck, and a B/W aggro list.

It was unfortunately Easy. The Variance favored me that night.
