The idea is to get Kaalia's "good side". That's why there are only angels in this deck.

Though it is restrictive compared to more classical versions, it gives you access to many tribal cards such as Seraph Sanctuary, Unclaimed Territory, Herald's Horn, Herald of War and Patriarch's Bidding.

Kaalia allows you to cheat angel's mana cost, that's why there are a lot of expensive - but very powerful - ones. I tried to build the creatures pool as a kind of toolbox to get an answer to many situations.

The main problem with your commander is to let her stay on the board, as she will on the one hand be a focused target by your opponents, and on the other hand be obliged to attack to trigger her ability. Therefore, many cards are there to protect her : Adarkar Valkyrie, Aegis Angel, Archangel Avacyn  , Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Bastion Protector, Deathless Angel, Glory, Mother of Runes, Sephara, Sky's Blade, Maze of Ith, Darksteel Plate, Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Whispersilk Cloak, Reconnaissance and Teferi's Protection (which will save your entire board if needed).
