For that special somebody

Commander / EDH* Casual Enchantment

Goalith

Disclaimer: You might lose a friend after playing this deck

Do you have a friend that gets really salty about being a target being he/she decides to drop threatening cards turn after turn?

Or do you want to just make them a target for the sake of it?

Then I have a solution for you.

Introducing the five color curse deck that will surely increase the salt level of that friend.

Featuring 17 "curse" type effects, in an enchantment theme deck, your friend will wish he packed more enchantment removal.

Gameplan

Your primary goal is to focus down on one player and keep using curse auras on him till he loses.

Because the deck is an enchantment themed deck, you have a lot of creatures that have synergy with enchantments that enter the battlefield.

This deck lacks ways of protecting itself, and ways to spot remove cards makes it very meta dependant. For casual decks/playgroups, this deck will work just fine, but definitely will have problems with more competitive decks/playgroups.

Deck Tech

Commander Selection

When picking your commander, there isnt a whole lot of options. Most enchantment themed commanders dont give you access to the full five colors, unless you use Ramos, Dragon Engine .
Technically speaking, Ramos is not an enchantment themed commander, but his abilities can be used to accelerate your game plan.

Enchantment matter creatures

With an exception of a few creatures, almost every creature in the deck will interact with enchantments. Whether that is drawing cards (Eidolon of Blossoms, or the enchantress creatures), removing creatures (Doomwake Giant, or Forgeborn Oreads), and even ways of generating creature tokens (Ajani's Chosen).

Safety Net

Since this deck lacks effective ways of removing threats, you will need to rely on enchantments to deter them. Cards like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda will provide a small buffer in the early game when the board is still being developed. In the late game, they might deter a bigger board from overrunning you. To protect the enchantments, Karmic Justice and Sterling Grove will offer some protection. Karmic will ensure you can punish the player for destroying an enchantment while Sterling provides a nice shield against target removal. One time recursion cards, such as Second Sunrise and Open the Vaults will bring back your enchantments if they are sent to the graveyard.

Ramp, Ramp, and more Ramp

The deck has a pretty standard ramp package, mostly leaning towards land ramp then artifact ramp. Land ramp is generally safer since it is harder to remove. One of the key exception is the inclusion of Chromatic Lantern. That card grants you the ability to have access to all your colors, all the time. Being a five color deck, it feels really bad if you cant play your cards because you dont have the appropriate lands in play.

What about the lands, I do not see any?

No point in putting in a mana base if the deck isnt finalize yet. Once suggestions are taken into consideration, the mana base could be completely off from the original.

Ok... so how do you win against the other players?

After eliminating your friend, you might still have one or more opponents remaining. There are token generators such as Daxos the Returned, Heliod, God of the Sun, Assemble the Legion, Sigil of the Empty Throne and Ajani's Chosen to fulfill that purpose. If the boardstate is too clogged up, using Grim Guardian or Forgeborn Oreads can ping down your opponent whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield.

Looking for improvements

Any suggestions or feedback to improve the deck would be greatly appriciated. I try to be as budget friendly as possible. I am fully aware of some really powerful cards that would work in this deck but trying to find a copy locally might be an issue.
