This is a new version of Modern Forcemage Green, which is a fun deck to smash people in modern with.

PRIMAL FORCEMAGE :

This at first glance weird-looking wizard is the center card of our deck. Giving +3/+3 to our creatures is what this deck is built around. Mulling a hand with one or more of these is not what you'll want to do.

UKTABI DRAKE :

This card is a perfect example of the combo. Alone this is clearly unplayable in most formats, but combine it with PrimalForcemage and you get to dome them for 5 damage for a single mana. Sometimes you will even pay the echo cost (when you have a Resilient Khenra coming the next turn f.e.) but just hitting once with this little critter is everything we want.

GROUNDBREAKER :

The green version of the famous Ball Lightning hits just as hard, especially with a Forcemage out. Once again, it will surely die at end of turn, but we really do not care once you start seeing it as a GGG deal 9+ burnspell.

STRANGELROOT GEIST :

This hasty mainstay of green aggro decks works nicely with our FORCEMAGE too, since it has haste. You do get the pump from Forcemage a second time when Geist comes back thanks to its Undying ability, but that will rarely be in the first main of your turn. then again, keeping a 3/2 around next to your other gigantic beatsticks isnt bad either.

RESILIENT KHENRA :

Now that we have the classic heavy haste hitters out of the way, we get to whats new. Reslient Kehnra combos with the Forcemage nicely, in that you can resolve the Forcemages ability first, allowing the Khenra to serve as a +5/+5 or more pumpspell the turn it comes down. This is especially nice with Birds of paradise in our deck which bascially become Birds of hell for our opponent once the are a 5/6.

CHAMPION OF WITS :

You liked Mulldrifter? Then let me tell you how good drawing 5(+) card for only 3 mana feels. Same as with the Khenra, putting the Forcemages pump on the Champion before its ETB resolves lets you draw 5 cards, then discard 2 cards. That lets you look very deep, get rid of unused lands and find one of your huge "burn spell creatures" or if you want to be sweet more Forcemages and Champions. Also sweet here: If you have the mana, casting a Blossoming Defense on your Championbefore its ability resolves or in response to your opponents attampt at killing you will net you 2 extra cards and a draw 2 for a single green sounds fine to me...

NOBLE HIERARCH :

To get our Forcemages on the board quicker than turn 3 we play 8 mana dorks, the first 4 of which are Noble Hierarch. This small modern staple enables quicker wins, fixes blue for Champion of Wits and even lets our one-shot creatures hit for more damage via Exalted. Really solid roleplayer, even if it does nothing with the Forcemage.

BIRDS OF PARADISE :

What is true for Hierarch is true for BoP and in addition to that you can spend your pumpspells on the bird, since it has evasion, and as mentioned before a Resilient Khenra turns this into a Dragon.

BLOSSOMING DEFENSE :

This deck runs 4 Blossoming Defense because it is more mana efficient than Vines of the Vastwood to enable our faster wins. Maybe that is wrong with the addition of Champion of Wits enabling a stronger late game for this deck, but thats where I am currently at. Defense helps us protect our creature from removal all the while being a great help in pushing through damage if need be.

VINES OF THE VASTWOOD :

If you ever played against Infect you will know just how good this card is and here it is no exception. Once you have buckets of mana you can go ham with this and Champion of Wits, but since we ant to kill our opponents fast, this is only a 2 of in the deck

RANCOR :

This crazy little enchantment is just value. getting it back even allows us to put in on one of our single-use creatures like the Drake or Groundbreaker and giving trample to Strangleroot Geist, Champion of Wits, Resilient Khenra or even Forecmage itself will come up relevant for sure.
