Thanks to some fancy wording, Form of the Dinosaur deals damage to our opponents creature before said creature strikes back. So if somehow we were able to reduce our opponents power to 0, we would take no damage on the crack back.

Enter, Soul-Scar Mage

Soul-Scar makes the damage from Dino-form into -1/-1 counters. Thanks to the wording, this means our opponents creature will be reduced to 0 power before the crack back making our Dino-form essentially free removal.

Which is great, but how to we win the game?

Enter, Nest of Scarabs

Nest of Scarabs turns our 15 -1/-1 counters into 15 1/1 insects. A few turns of turning them sideways will end almost any game.

These three cards form the basis of our combo. Now its a matter of finding the right shell to run it in. Currently I have a -1/-1 counter synergy deck built, but I feel that the combo might function better in a more midrange shell. Alternatively, I've thought of going full Grixis and playing the control game, but adding more colors could be tricky.
