OK so just to clarify on Dungeons, the card and specific die result decide what sort of combat (if any) is started?

So for instance, if you send creatures into Minamo School, they don't get to combat the dungeon master unless you roll a 1-10?

@daneel They don't have any special rules. They go into the quest log zone as Quests do. Everything else is noted on the cards :)

Hmm, I guess what's confusing then about the Cccurrences is that they seem to all reference "at the beginning of your pre-combat main phase, roll" but I was under the impression that everything in the quest log area is shared? Is the idea that each player can roll, if they want to?

Or Game of Thrones, which in bold at the top mentions that you draw a card at the beginning of your end step...whose end step? Each player?

Yeah, its simple. They go to the Quest Log Zone and affect every player.

The texts says:

"at the beginning of your pre-combat main phase, roll"

There is no "may" and the "your" specifies that a player only rolls on his precombat main phase.

same goes for Game of thrones. it says "at the beginning of your end step"

This may be a silly/obvious question, but what do the numbers on the bottom of some Quest cards mean? I can't find any explanation in this post or the rules.

For Quests/Bounties: These are just indicators to remind people how many progress counters they need on the quest to complete it :) It saves lots of time, since people don't need to read the text again.

For Encounters: The number resembles the starting life total of the encounter.

For Conspiracy Roles: It's just an indicator at what playgroup size you should include the role. (If you have 5 players you use all roles up to 5+)

I started working on it october last year. Did tons of playtesting with my playgroup and was joined by two great judge-level revisors/consulters around january who pushed the quality of this project to what we now have.

Didn't keep track of the time we sinked into this project but we should already have accumulated multiple month of worktime.

Right now we are a worldwide-international team of ~5-15 people working on and off on translations, apps, achievements and other ideas. Life is keeping us busy but we try to create new content in our free time if we get the chance to! :)

That is great, a few quick questions, the first is what platforms are you using to promote it, and also is the whole 5-15 person group controlling this account, or is it just one person?

There isnt any promoting going on since we dont commercialize it. Of course the more people know about it the more it pushes us to dive deeper into this project. We even have some very nice Patrons and dedicated playgroups that give us constantly feedback.

I sometimes post updates on our Twitter or on Reddit (Gets upvoted to r/MTGTCG front page pretty fast).

Did make a YouTube video around christmas last year, but since making these takes time away from creating new Cards I didnt had the chance to make a new one yet.

The deckcycle / feature token is giving us most traction here on T/O.

I sent a copy of CA to the Professor, but don't know if he had a chance to try it yet. Seeking to send it to some more YouTubers and Streamers so people can see the game in action :) That's why we made a patreon account.

Hello, Firstly i must say i REALLY love this idea.

But unfortunately i do not have a great printer or an idea how to make good cards of this (like the ones in your pictures)

So i was wondering, is there any way to buy all of the cards from you? (like the complete set with all the current expansions)

We don't sell these since that would imply that we would make money by selling licensed artworks.

I recommend to look up a printshop in your local area. Normally every medium sized town has one.

They should have industry printers with great quality, good card stock (300gsm) and the tools to cut these properly!

Many larger stores also can do that, such as Staples I think.

Yeah, we have multiple services here that do a great job printing these. Most fans get them locally made and doublesleeve them with KMC perfect fits and Ultra Pro Clear Sleeves.
