This is my go at a fortress.dec. The idea of a fortress.dec is to create a completely invulnerable board position, using only single copy permanents. It cannot involve cards in hand. Your opponent has every card in the history of magic in any quantity and an infinite amount of mana at their disposal but nothing in play initially.The objective of this type of deck is to not lose, as opposed to other formats where the objective is to win. Because it is small, I will go over each card I included. If anyone can think of a card that can get through this fortress, please let me know!
Dovescape
Dovescape is one of the most crucial pieces of this deck. Most non-creature spells they try to play will be turned into birds.
Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Platinum Angel
Unfortunately, there are a few instants and sorceries that cannot be countered. Most of these wouldn't be relevant, but the rest are things like Urza's Rage and Obliterate, which could totally ruin my day. Avacyn and Plat Angel can negate all of these. Plat Angel also makes it so I don't care about their doves from Dovescape.
Angel of Jubilation + AEther Storm
This combo just means no creatures for you.
Rest in Peace
Discarding Creatures such as Kederekt Leviathan and bringing them straight to the battlefield via Unearth or similar abilities can get pretty annoying, So it's best if they don't get graveyards at all.
Blood Moon
Blood moon can, without a doubt, get rid of all of their non-basic lands. Only thing is, I can't think of any lands that can get through everything else I have. Let me know if I'm missing something
