Aqueous Form would work really well. Mystical Tutor puts a wanted card on top of your library.

Beleriand - I originally had Aqueous Form in here but found that with all the other things I can put onto Narset I had no problem attacking with her. Mystical Tutor is obviously a very strong card and I have been considering it for a long time. I'm just not quite sure what to replace.

Journal isn't that good I would rather cast Ring turn 5 hour honestly

Blackshadow415 - Still planning to test it out since it's hard to determine card strength in a vacuum. The tutor effect is obviously slower than with Ring of Three Wishes, however the ability to draw extra cards could be valuable. You could be right though, it could be ineffective.

Maybe run Elspeth, Knight-Errant because the flying is good with the buff

Blackshadow415 - Yeah, she's probably better. I probably won't buy one, but I will keep an eye out for one for trade.

I see someone bought the German Land Tax.
Very nice!

AmazingGrace15 - Sure did, couldn't resist for $9. We'll have to find time to play over the summer so I can test it out!

I would replace Invocation of Saint Traft with Myth Realized. Neither helps protect Narset in any way, but the Angel is only present while you are on offense, and if it's getting though you're probably going to win anyway; it in no way protects you. Meanwhile, Myth grows fast in this setting and becomes a studly blocker, turning into a creature just when you need it. And it dodges most board wipes (as long as it's not a creature at that time).

That said- lovely deck. I stole about six ideas and only added one.

BabyDoc - I actually tested with Myth Realized a while back and was unimpressed. I was just trying out Invocation of Saint Traft to see if it would make the 99, but I think it will come out. Have to figure out what I want to put in its spot for now. I may consider picking up something from my maybeboard that I don't own already and trying it out. I'm thinking Time Stretch or Mind's Desire.

I think Mind's Desire is better with your commander because the storm count will be atleast 2 90% of the time

More second attack phase cards: Seize the Day,Fury of the Horde and Hellkite Charger. He is a creature but you only have two so one more, especially one giving you four more free cards, wont hurt. Also doublestrike gives you another attack phase to trigger narset. Things like: Battle Mastery, Rage Reflection, True Conviction and Fireshrieker. The other thing to consider is extra turn cards, i.e.- Time Stretch, etc. With my narset I went with all of my favorite high cmc sorceries and cards that utilized high casting costs. Check it out here: The Enlightened Master

Maze of Ith? This does the same thing as the enchantment you mentioned in the description, probably a cool card to include

Oops I see it is on your maybe board now, lol sorry
June 1, 2016 8:59 p.m.
LunarLotusVII - I forgot about Seize the Day and will find room to add it. I will consider Fury of the Horde but I am concerned about how weak it can be in the wrong situations. I don't like Hellkite Charger because he likely just instantly dies, especially since I don't have a lot of creatures that removal can target. It gets stuck in their hand and then they can easily kill the dragon. Not sure what you mean about double strike though. It does not trigger Narset again. Finally, I am looking to acquire a Time Stretch already.
EnderPlaysCompetitiveMTG - Yeah, I currently just don't have one because of price. There are more important cards for me to buy first.

You're right about the doublestrike not triggering her again, my mistake, sorry. I thought that because she attacks again that it would, but she just deals first strike damage and then normal damage. You are kind of right about hellkite, he is wasted more than he is used, but I still like to have him for the offchance he gets the job done. Also since you have an enlightened tutor, maybe; Mark of Fury, or Dragon Breath for more haste. Btw how effective is Tamiyo's Journal? Seems too costly and time consuming.
June 2, 2016 2:41 p.m.
LunarLotusVII - Not sure I want to have spells that merely give haste in this deck, I think I am just better off with more heavy-hitters. Haven't really had enough of a chance to test the Journal yet, so I can't say for certain but I expect that it will be coming out.

Quietus Spike, Razia's Purification, Cataclysm, Vanishing, Mana Barbs, fetch lands (for deck thinning), Crucible of Worlds (to abuse fetchlands), Tragic Arrogance, Flickerform, Norn's Annex (XD), Sphere of Safety, Ghostly Prison, Island Sanctuary (who needs to draw anyways), Propaganda.

I has explanations for all this but my phone made me type it all out four times so I guess just take that list of maybe helpful cards.

I find Indestructibility useful sometimes, such as when I need to wrath away my opponents creatures but I want Narset to stick around. However, I don't know what you would take out for it, as all your cards seem quite suited for her! BTW, Do you have any specific suggestions for protecting the planeswalkers (a problem I have in my Narset deck)?
August 22, 2016 7:47 p.m.
Ajani@mtg - I used to run Indestructibility but I took it out because I found it to be too weak. Protecting planeswalkers can be difficult in Narset if you are facing the wrong decks. If I am playing against decks that really want to play quite a few creatures, it gets much harder to protect them. Basically, if you can, use Narset as a deterrent if you have something like Reconnaissance. If they are going to go wide, then you need to time playing them right after you are able to boardwipe, or only play them when you have removal available (like Swords or Path). Also, some of them protect themselves or other planeswalkers by killing opposing creatures or tapping them (see Ajani and Tamiyo). And sometimes you cannot protect them and they end up either being kind of dead, or have value based on one activation and saving you some damage. This is obviously the worst-case scenario, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I think the most important thing is timing their arrival appropriately.

djakes - Definitely interested in one but not enough so that I want to straight up buy it. If I found one for trade I would consider it very highly though.
