Sideboard

Maybeboard

This deck is all about the new card Song of Freyalise. At my Dominaria prerelease I had just one of these in my deck and it won me every game I played it in. Even when I was missing land drops, I reliably had seven mana to spend on a kicked Bladewing and a good board that could swing out when the saga popped. Now that I have all the cards open to me I have some fun new tools. Skirk Prospector can effectively double dip with SoF, tapping for mana and sacrificing itself for that extra red to get out one of the many beaters in this deck. Nicol Bolas' presence in this deck is only half a joke. Popping him on the bored around turn four or five can give you a leg up in the Second Sun matchup and provides one hell of a surprise the first time you do it. The sideboard is built to fight against Red deck wins, anointed procession, and control but please feel free to edit this so it best fits your playgroups meta. Yes there is another bolas in the sideboard, I think I am very, very funny. For a more affordable version of this deck you could take out Carnage Tyrants, Glorybringers, etc. for Bladewings, Thorn Elementals, or any other big drop that can threaten your playgroup. Considering Fanatical firebrands to provide hasty creatures to tap for mana and more goblins to sac. They may replace some or all of the llanowar elves if their mana ability starts to seem redundant. Radha may eventually have a place here, SoF gives you a free full swing and can generate a lot of mana with her. I am aware settle the wreckage is in the format, this deck will take the land. Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated, this deck is in its very early stages!
