I have a similar budget Selesnya Hexproof Aura casual deck (still very much under construction.) I like Spirit Link. I can drop it on one of my creatures to add lifelink if I haven't pulled Unflinching Courage, or I can drop it on an opponent's creature to negate its damage (including Guttersnipe.)

If you're interested in looking at my deck, it's here: Budget Selesnya Hexproof Aura. I made this mostly out of cards I already owned, so it's not fully modern legal and some of the card choices might change if I decide to drop some cash. I like the idea of using Alpha Authority to add hexproof to something like Graceblade Artisan.

Thanks for the suggestion libraryjoy, I definitely hadn't thought of using Spirit Link in that manner. I'll definitely consider it as a sideboard option against Burn.

Once Alpha Authority drops on Hero, Spiritdancer, or the Artisan, they pretty much become run-away trains unless my opponent is packing a board wipe.

sigh, its called a hexproof deck for a reason, why do you run Alpha Authority use Slippery Bogle instead of graceblade artisan

bobiscool145, I haven't purchased a playset of Bogles yet. There also isn't a lot of spot removal in my meta, so I can get away with using a couple Graceblade Artisan (for now). I know that auras is typically run using Bogles, but I have had decent success in my meta with the current build I have. As much as I want to crush my friends, I want them to have fun, and if they can't interact with me because everything is hexproof then they can't have as much fun.

Once Alpha Authority hits the Spiritdancer or Hero, it's usually game from there lol.

I have a playset of Canopy Cover. I'll consider play testing with it again.

Thanks for the suggestion mtgraphael. I had considered it, but unfortunately it isn't Modern legal.

remove Pacifism and add Journey to Nowhere

i would also remove2x Dawn Charm2x Silence2x Bow of Nylea

and maybe add something of this

Spirit Mantle
Silhana Ledgewalker
Graceblade Artisan
Verduran Enchantress
Hyena Umbra

I'd probably sideboard the Journey to Nowhere, cause I like the aura-interactions that I get from Pacifism, Hero of Iroas, Kor Spiritdancer, and Sage's Reverie.

Verduran Enchantress is cool, but I don't want to over-draw between that and potentially Kor Spiritdancer and Sage's Reverie.

The instants are useful in a pinch, and somewhat unexpected.

Consider Oblivion Ring over Pacifism

Thanks for the suggestion, but Eidolon of Blossoms is a bit too high costed, and doesn't really beat out Kor Spiritdancer.

well nothing beats Kor Spiritdancer

Thanks though. I'm thinking about making a Bant or Naya EDH aura deck, so the Eidolon could fit in there.

I saw the Hyena Umbra and Spider Umbra in your maybe board and I have to support those choices. They would make your creatures much harder to remove as they would be protected from dying to combat damage and board wipes - add this ability to a hexproof creature and the only way it could be removed is a sacrifice effect. Also, I would use Journey to Nowhere instead of the Pacifism. You might make a creature unable to be a part of combat, but that creature might still have some abilities which you would not get rid of by putting Pacifism on it. On the other hand, Journey to Nowhere takes care of both of these problems.

You might also be interested in checking my Bogle deck I made. It is not on budget, though you might get here some inspiration and maybe see a direction where to go.

I'll probably throw in Journey to Nowhere once I get my hands on some. In regards to Spider Umbra, or other "totem auras", I'm not quite sure what I would take out to put them in.

I like having a couple of Silence and Dawn Charm, as well as Bow of Nylea for the utility they provide, but I know they don't fit into the deck as neatly as some of the other cards.

From my experience, W/G aura decks are super fast. I am usually done with my opponent by turn 4. Because of this, I would remove the Bow of Nylea. At CMC of 3, it is quite slow for what you are doing. I don't know your meta, but at least in mine, there rarely (almost never) is a bigger creature than mine so any creature blocking it would die anyway, regardless of the fact if my creature had deathtouch or not. The other card that might be worth cutting is Dawn Charm. As you said, it does not fit into the deck - leaving two mana up means that you did not make your creature bigger this turn. You would not need to regenerate your creatures if they were protected by the "Totem Armor" effect. If anywhere, this card belongs to the sideboard against some more aggressive decks than yours is (and mainly for its first ability, where Fog or Holy Day would have been better, but I understand that the other effects on Dawn Charm might somehow be handy for you).

I liked Bow of Nylea primarily for the deathtouch on attacking creatures portion, and slightly less for its ability to (slowly) ping flying creatures or gain a pinch of life.

Dawn Charm is cool, I mostly use it for the damage prevention, and rarely for the counter a mill or burn spell against me. I'll probably consider putting in Holy Day or Fog instead.

In the earliest build of this deck, I ran Umbra Mystic, but found that she became a lightning rod for removal.
