First game with new lands. —Feb. 15, 2018

A friend built up their Esper Control recently into a deck they consider complete. It's been rough playing against them in the past unless I pull out one of my Tron decks. With the additions and updates to the deck, I decided to try it against them. As this was casual, I didn't keep track of the plays. The deck went 3-1 in our plays, with them conceding when the lock was complete or near completion.

The second game, they took a win with their Geist of Saint Traft, as I had not gotten anywhere near a proper lock due to bad card draw. The fourth game in which they conceded, they slowly bumped me down to 2 life until I was able to pull an Ancient Stirrings, fish for an Ensnaring Bridge, and secure a soft lock with it, two mill pieces, and three Laterns in play.

I liked this deck before. Now I am loving it.

I plan on adding Ensnaring Bridge at some point; that's just really expensive. Mox Opal will probably never be a part of this deck, though it would be lovely. I may pick up: more Thoughtseize, more Inquisition of Kozilek, Surgical Extraction or Extirpate, more Pithing Needle, or some other smaller cards.

Critique is welcome.
