Goal is to self-mill and win with a Laboratory Maniac effect with Persistent Petitioners as the backbone of the deck. Goldfishing, the deck wins around turn 7 or 8 on average.

Deck runs 33 Persistent Petitioners with 6 changling/advisor stand-ins for a pseudo count of 39. Four stand-ins help lower the cmc and the fifth and sixth allows some niche interaction and/or adding some mediocre value.

Deck consists of only permanents. Not needed but a nice deck restriction that plays to the commander's strengths. Running just about every Leyline of Anticipation effect I can. Instant speed interaction makes stopping the deck nearly impossible if it gets going.

Deck has multiple Exploration effects for resiliency. It's easier to re-cast the keystone commander with abundant lands than to stock 15 counterspells/protection pieces. Though, some instant speed protection is provided and all of it is fetchable through the commander's ability.

Aluren is the all star and near-infinite combo with the deck. If I can dig into Aluren, I can mill enough Persistent Petitioners to play/mill the whole deck and win shortly after it is played.

Potential Achilles Heel of the deck would be any Eradicate effect or Rest in Peace effect. If eradicate-ish isn't countered or grave-hate countered or Haywire Mite-ed, then it's game over. Grolnok, the Omnivore is a keystone commander. It is possible to win without him but the deck is severely crippled without him. Also, he is essentially the only source of card advantage, which makes his presence essential.
