No worries! Thanks for taking the time, like I said, if you have a list you'd like me to look at, just let me know via my wall, or tagging me in the list itself.

Entomb, Buried Alive, Final Parting, Demonic Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Fauna Shaman, and the like are pretty good tutors.

Awesome. That looks perfect SynergyBuild, also, with all this ramp, do you think I should run Tooth and Nail? What would you recommend cutting from the current list to make room for these tutors? I understand less efficient tutors like LiliVess...i also think Hermit Druid has a home here just for self mill even with my basics. Use him as utility instead of win-cons. Fauna Shaman I'm excited about as well. Final Parting honestly feels a little lackluster comparatively, but it still seems better than what I currently run. Going to start assembling that Tasigur deck we discussed soon as well. Trying to get Meren to a good place first. But she feels pretty solid right now, I think I could step back and begin tinkering with tasigur shortly.

Final Parting is a combo card, imagine stuffing a Triskelion in the yard and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed in hand, then use Meren to bring back the Triskelion, so you get both cards. Any other two-card combo in which at least one is a creature can be used in this way, and can fetch the whole combo with one card.
Fauna Shaman is actually just gravy (get it, since you use the grave!) value with this deck, and can be used to discard cards, tutor, it has cool lines with Eternal Witness, The Gitrog Monster & Ramunap Excavator, Greenwarden of Murasa, and other creatures you have in the deck.
Cards you can drop are the following: Grindclock, Phyrexian Scriptures, Nighthowler, Korozda Guildmage, Vraska the Unseen, Ravenous Chupacabra, Underworld Connections, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
I'd add in more ramp, Blood Pet could be a fun gimmick, but isn't really too powerful, really, I'd like to make small switches like Deathcap Cultivator for Birds of Paradise, and Thought Vessel for Fellwar Stone, or things in that realm. Heart Warden is really cool too.
August 27, 2018 7:32 a.m.
I didn't consider that Final Parting would allow me to get both my combos provided I have a way to recur them. That makes it marginally better actually...though I am still considering Tooth and Nail over it given the instant win with Mikaeus and Triskelion...Hermit Druid could easily replace Grindclock and should. Scriptures is just a panic button, I feel like even this deck needs a a few ways to board wipe. If I pick up a Toxic Deluge scriptures is gone. Guildmage is just an additional Sac Outlet, but I could drop it for something better easily. Nighthowler was just an amusing way to mill or win via commander damage. Jarad basically served the mill purpose at this point as well. Although his sacrifice effect was occasionally relevant. Vraska I can see cutting, as well as Connections...but why don't you like Ravenous Chupacabra here?

Crux of Fate might be able to be dropped as well for Languish, the budget Toxic Deluge.
I don't like Ravenous Chupacabra because unlike a lot of your other options, it requires a sacrifice outlet to gain repeatable value from Meren, and is 4 mana which I find too expensive for most forms of single-target removal spells.
August 27, 2018 10:15 a.m.
It is moderately expensive, but the no restriction removal is nice, and I can cheat it out with Meren very easily when necessary. Rarely am I trying to hard cast it. Languish is bad in my meta, my meta is very stompy and full of Timmys. Haha. That's why I try to run the straight destroy spells such as Damnation. Unfortunately the options are limited without white. Deluge is a good alternative, I'm running Crux because I own it and it works. I'd love to pick up a better wipe in lieu of it.

Aside from actual Entomb, there are not a ton of effects that mimic that unless it is Corpse Connoisseur. Self milling effects are similar.
I could see adding some dredge cards to get some cards flowing (especially with Greater Good). Hermit Druid also can get an alright number of cards in the yard.
If you are looking for Reanimate effects still, Death from Life // Death and Animate Dead are reasonable.
August 27, 2018 2:45 p.m.
Also, if you are running Final Parting, you may as well be running Jarad's Orders instead. It may not get any card, but you basically are searching for combo pieces with that effect anyways.
August 27, 2018 2:48 p.m.
@Aiding - Corpse Connoisseur Is very expensive for the effect it provides, so I think I'll pass there. Hermit Druid is really a card I need to pick up...Life // Death seems interesting, but I am loathe to acquire more difficult to recur cards...I prefer my abilities with bodies if at all possible. That cost is incredibly difficult to beat though...I'll have to think on that one. Animate Dead is a problem for the same reasons...ability to recur is hindered by not being a creature. Final Parting seems better on the surface because I can fetch wither of my combos dependent on what I have access too or think I will need, but Jarad's Orders is cheaper...only by one however...I really don't know here. I'll have to play a few games and see where my weaknesses lie and see which one I think will be better.
Thank you very much for your suggestions!
@Infral - Self-proclaimed...I'm coming for your title. :p Thanks for the like though.

Scanned through the comments and didn't see it suggested so, thoughts on Altar of the Brood
September 7, 2018 9:53 a.m.
@usaDiabetic - I have considered Altar of the Brood, however it is really only a combo piece and doesn't really have a purpose other than going infinite with SquirrelCraft. Sure it nets minor value, and it combos well with the Nighthowler approach, but ultimately I'm looking to go infinite, not win through an extended game, so it just doesn't quite make the cut in my opinion. In an older version of the deck I believe it would have made an excellent addition. Thank you for the suggestion! Feel free to present any point you think I missed in my consideration. :) Have a great one.

consider adding Erebos, Bleak-Hearted, Ashnod's Altar, Pitiless Plunderer and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician.
some possible cuts: Morbid Curiosity, Nighthowler, Liliana Vess
just a little laundry list of things i might do :)
March 5, 2020 11:26 p.m.
@HyperViper191 - I love pitiless plunderer and Yawgmoth here, i will definitely look into picking some of those up. Erebos is a potential play test card, i will have to see how it performs. Altar feels less good because i as a rule dont generate tokens, i only sacrifice 1-2 solid creatures per turn as a rule and i want additional effects when i do so.

Hi there Scytec. I really like the way that you have your deck subsections setup. So I decided to build further on it, with my own cards.
Hopefully you can appreciate it that I used your deck for this purpose. If not, I don't mind taking it down.
I tried to make the deck a bit more suitable for 1v1 (not sure if I succeeded in that), by making it slightly faster. Also, could you explain why there is no hard removal in your deck, like Assassin's Trophy?
If you have any suggestions, that would be awesome.
March 17, 2020 11:38 a.m.
@UltraMeh - You're welcome to steal anything you like from my setup, haha. Not bothering me in the least. I did it this way so it is easier for people to see how i intend my deck to work so they can give better suggestions. I do run removal, just the vast majority of it is stapled to the body of a creature so that I may recur it easily. Cards like Acidic Slime, Caustic Caterpillar, Ravenous Chupacabra, Fleshbag Marauder, and Merciless Executioner. I also main Beast Within because of the versatility. For the most part though, I want my answers on a body so they can be utilized multiple times easily without having to fetch them with Eternal Witness. Any other questions or concerns? :p I used to run considerably more answers in my list, but it got the point everyone in my meta assumed I would answer any threats, so I pulled a lot of them for threats of my own. Kind of a solve your own problems mentality right now so I am not being taken advantage of. :p
March 17, 2020 11:57 a.m. Edited.
Also, your deck link is broken and I could not find it on your profile, just tag me in your list and I will be happy to take a look.

Ah, I thought so that you wanted to have more recurring answers in your deck. I am just a bit afraid that there is not enough to hit planeswalkers, but maybe I should just swing at those.
It is good to know that I probably have to play around with the amount of answers in this deck.
Are there any more cards that you consider flex spots? I am very new to the commander format, so I might ask pretty basic questions.
My decklist should be available now, I forgot to uncheck the private tag.
March 17, 2020 3:24 p.m.
@UltraMeh - Ask away, this is my pet deck and I love talking about it. :p Planeswalkers just are not very prevalent in my meta, so they really aren't a concern for me. This deck is very much tuned for my creature and artifact heavy meta. Though I do need more forms of recursion so I can utilize multiple cards each turn. That is one of this decks weaknesses, I used to run a few more...I should really take another look at those...
March 17, 2020 4:16 p.m.
Ah, you must be so lucky to play a meta with so little planeswalkers.
For recursion enabling creatures, I was thinking about Plaguecrafter and Underrealm Lich. Most likely you have seen these already, but you never know.
