It does take care of it! but if i'm only running 3 and he gets it out early, it can possibly put me in a troublesome situation.

Agreed Blood Moon can be a pain depending on when they put it out.
March 4, 2014 8:55 p.m.
If you can think of any other good cards for this deck tho please let me know :P I wanna make a sick deck :D

Vandalblast sideboard possibly for affinty. I know you have Pyroclasm for creatures but an overloaded Vandalblast could potentially shut down affinity.
Your build is great though.
March 4, 2014 10:46 p.m.
I was thinking about removing the 2 Mindslaver and put it in my sideboard and I would replace it with one Oblivion Stone and 1 All Is Dust because I find it would help remove the coloured permenants on the field that I don't like.
Also good idea about the Vandalblast , I'm gonna add that definitely In my sideboard
March 5, 2014 2:26 p.m.
Torpor Orb would also help sideboard for control decks running Snapcaster Mage , Vendilion Clique , Aven Mindcensor , and other creatures with flash and irritating abilities. Only problem then is you would have to side in a few Nature's Claim to sac Torpor Orb in order to cast your own Eldrazi's abilities. Grafdigger's Cage could be another possibility by shutting out the graveyard interaction.
March 5, 2014 5:06 p.m.
The only downside i saw with Torpor Orb was that it stops my eldrazis abilities too so i would have to have a Nature's Claim or something that removes target artifact. It is a good idea to use Nature's Claim on Torpor Orb and gain the 4 life but if i don't get any it can possible screw me over, but i do agree that is a good combo, and i do agree it can really help me early game.my main graveyard interaction is Relic of Progenitus but i do like these ideas :)

Ghost Quarter could help mess up critical early game mana. Destroy shock/dual lands make them search for a basic land.
March 5, 2014 10:17 p.m.
I was actually gonna put that in and take out Eldrazi Temple , I find it will screw over my opponents alot faster :)
Also thank you for helping me! It means alot!
March 5, 2014 10:22 p.m.
Sure thing Some people like Tectonic Edge but I prefer Ghost Quarter . Tectonic edge only activates when they control 4+ lands. Some decks can go insane with 4 lands and a good hand.
March 5, 2014 10:47 p.m.
Both are good, I should def consider both for different situations! But I might go with Ghost Quarter just because taking out a shock land could be quite beneficial

Why not replace Gruul Guildgate s with Stomping Ground s
March 6, 2014 10:41 a.m.
Grove of the Burnwillows is in my opinion is best. Only downfall is price and the opponents life gain. Having it untapped and not having to pay 2 life and getting the red or green mana open turn one could be critical. Besides giving someone say 2-4 life in order to to assemble TRON on turn 3-4 with Karn Liberated or Wurmcoil Engine in hand is worth it.
March 6, 2014 11:23 a.m.
Don't get me wrong, if I had Grove of the Burnwillows it would definitely go in my deck no matter what! But it's just so costly for a land. I agree that it's better than Gruul Guildgate , alot better! But I would say it's the next best contender!
The main reason why I don't want Stomping Ground In the deck is because it opens me up to forest & mountain walk. Not only that but I need all the life I can get until the game goes into my favour.
The reason why I say Gruul Guildgate is the next best card is because it is not considered a forest/mountain and that I don't have to pay 2 life to get it to untap. Also another reason why I do like it is because I have so many cards that actually let me force a specific coloured mana I need for specific cards that I feel I won't need red/green mana right away, or at least that is what I've noticed. Once the time comes when Grove of the Burnwillows is cheaper or when I can afford 4 copies of it I will definitely switch it In because it will make the deck alot faster
March 6, 2014 2:23 p.m.
Ok today I learned that Tectonic Edge may trump Ghost Quarter . Someone used it on me today and had they of used Ghost Quarter I could have at least searched for an island but Tectonic Edge prevented that and cost me the game due to my lack of blue mana.

fast7which prints of urza land do you use? Also kind of a dumb question but say you have assembled Tron and then play a tower you get the 3 colorless instead of 1 colorless right?
March 7, 2014 2:32 a.m.
I try and use all the concept art ones, but right now i have the ones from the anvil set, i don't remember what it is called sadly. I plan on buying another 3 of each in the 9th edition sets just because i like the looks of them too, i just dont know how to change the looks on the website.
And yes, as long as you have all 3 out, if you place another tower it will make another 3 mana:P
Also how do mention people in comments, i dont know how to do that yet?
March 7, 2014 12:17 p.m.
fast7 The name thing is done the same as the cards using the brackets. I like the mine from 8th edition, the tower from chronicles (which is the anvil), and the power plant from chronicles as well.
March 7, 2014 12:27 p.m.
Torpor Orb does not stop your eldrazi's abilities. It stops only abilities that use "enter the battlefield", not "when you cast".
March 7, 2014 12:28 p.m.
ohhhhhhhhh really?... than that is definitely a card i need to consider, i thought it would affect them some how
March 7, 2014 12:31 p.m.
cryptic88 i agree, the only card im not really in favor of was the powerplant with the insect attached to it, to me its a meh, the others look so sick!
March 8, 2014 1:27 p.m.
Have you thought about using Temple of Abandon ? Basically same as the Guildgate but the scry might help early or late game. And for only 4 bucks a pop not exactly a huge blow to your wallet either.
March 8, 2014 1:42 p.m.
I actually didn't think about that!!! thats alot better than the gate!

Wouldn't Oblivion Stone take care of Blood Moon ?
