That is a good idea, but I'm just trying to keep the deck Lorwyn block so that I can make an excuse for not having some really powerful cards like Electrolyze and Ral Zarek . I actually do own Lightning Bolt but I think I'll just stick to the theme. :-)

Snakeform for alternate removal?

Unfortunately, I can't use Snakeform because I'm keeping a full red mana base to keep the deck simple and for Flame Javelin . I'll keep it for consideration later, though.

Actually I did end up doing all sets in modern to make the deck, so bolts and more have been added.

you sure you dont want some cards from other sets to make the deck more... well "tribal" i love alternative triblas, but without cards that could give you smth for playing only with noggles thats not noggle deck. door of destinies? adaptive automaton? there are more. more draw, maybe?

I'll definitely think about because I do have some automatons. I also might be able to get doors of destiny since they are coming in m14.

Steam Vents and fetch lands lands? Also don't forget counters in Mana Leak , Spell Snare ,Remand and Cryptic Command

Ooo, I love this deck, it's so nifty! <3 Plus, Lorwyn-Shadowmoor is my favorite block of all time. How about some Shrewd Hatchling ? It'd make a really awesome finisher. I'm putting this in my favorites folder so I can playtest it later. +1 from me.

Honestly, it wouldn't take much for you to cut out blue entirely. Possibly consider the approach I took in this deck, Shadowmoor Burn.

Thanks for the idea, but the deck would be locked in for the most part if the only cards people can suggest are of one color. If I use two colors, it gives me a wider variety of spells.
