I came accross the Thallids while looking through the time spiral set, I instantly loved them and knew I had to make a thallid deck, here's what I have so far. The strategy for this deck is to flood the field with saprolings, then sacrifice them with the thallids to activate effects, or attack with the boost from Thelonite Hermit. The Thallids themselves can become huge attackers thanks to Thelon of Havenwood in addition to their saproling generation capacity, Both Doubling Season and Sporesower Thallid act to increase this capacity.

Breakdown by card:

Creatures:

Mycoloth is the main win con of this deck. bring him in and devour your saprolings to get twice as many every upkeep to do with as you please, or attack with a huge Myccoloth who has a ton of counters on him, or use Essence Harvest to make opponent lose a huge amount of life and replenish your own.

Psychotrope Thallid Is used for card advantage in this deck. it's a little costly, but as long as you have Utopia Mycon and a ton of saprolings you can draw cards to your hearts content.

Spore Flower is a beautiful defensive card, basically Fog but a creature that can be used over and over again. With a few spore sower thallid or Fungal Bloom on the field you can use its ability every time your opponent attacks in 1 v 1.

Sporesower Thallid puts an extra spore counter on each of my thallids every upkeep, giving better saproling generation, stronger thallids from Thelon of Havenwood , and letting me use Spore Flower 's ability more often.

Thallid is a great one drop saproling generator that can get huge from Thelon of Havenwood .

Thelon of Havenwood is a great little two drop creature and another win con for this deck she can boost all my fungi, even my weak little Thallid 's, into huge fatties that get stronger every turn, and can be used very effectively to swing for huge damage, or provide the power for a devastating Essence Harvest.

Thelonite Hermit is another potential win con boosting my saprolings for an all out swing with a huge number of 2/2 saprolings. Its morph ability is also nice giving me four saprolings to play with.

Utopia Mycon is a sweet one drop with huge mana generation potential as long as you have enough saprolings.

Instants:

Naturalize takes care of any pesky enchantments that screw this deck over such as Sphere of Safety and the like, and has the poetential to remove any anoying artifacts as well.

Putrefy destroys any creatures giving you trouble with the added bonus of preventing regeneration.

Sorcery:

Saproling Symbiosis provides a potentially enormous number of saprolings to do with as I wish.

Enchantments:

Doubling Season is a beautiful enchantment that allows me to produce more saprolings, much faster. It puts double the spore counters on all my fungi, meaning that they'll either get huge courtesy of Thelon of Havenwood or i can activate their abilities even more often like with Spore Flower .

Rancor is a great card for any green deck, in this deck it functions as way to get damage through against other flood / weenie decks, or decks that prevent me from mass attacking using cards like Sphere of Safety it also has the potential to make my early game board presence much more poweful

Artifacts:

Druidic Satchel is a useful mana dump, allowing me to reveal the top card of my library for life gain, a saproling, or an additional land..

Thanks for looking at my deck, any suggestions would be much appreciated, particularly any sideboard help.
