Updated newest additions from Innistrad, Gutter Grime and Parallel Lives , now just waiting for card prices to update.

Also had to add Druidic Satchel , Thelon's magical bag is just too awesome and I finally got a deck I can put it into.

from wat i understand from edh is tat the color u can use in ur deck = to ur commander's mana color.. for ur deck the commander is dual forest, so how is it u plan 2 use swamp in it?

Commander's color identity includes all manasymbols in the card, Thelon has ability with G and B in it so his color indentity is Green/Black, even tho' he is a monogreen creature. :)

this deck is one of the coolest theme-decks ive seen,.. and the price is what makes me want to try and play around with this idea,..

Was planning just to say "love the deck name," but this deck is all around great and looks fun to play.

Finally updated with newest RtR cards! Now that all creatures are either oozes or fungi, I can start to replace them with better ones whenever Wizards decides to print something new for those living under stones and roots. :)

No infinite combos? :( That's not fun... xD

wasn't Parallel Lives in deck?, i would recommend Contagion Clasp it cost 0.25 cents, helps your fungi get counters faster and its a more fair vertion of Contagion Engine

I took Parallel Lives out at some point since it went over the deck's budget. Good that you reminded me about it, now I can put it back in since I removed some expensive cards. PL is still 10% of deck's total budget but it's also damn good card.

Proliferate would indeed be godly but I'm trying to keep the amount of artifacts as low as possible, I just don't think they fit the deck's theme. Druidic Satchel is only artifact I like since it feels like something Thelon himself might use. :D

I really like where you're going with this idea. Budget FTW!

This deck is really Awesome, if I may make a suggestion; Mycoloth is a rare fungus only worth 2.49, which with a little bit of tweaking, still makes your budget, theme, and he's SUPER fun to play with corpsesjack menace, +1 from me!

Get yourself a sac engine, a few death triggers and a recusion engine... something like Bloodthrone Vampire /Culling the Weak , Mikaeus, the Unhallowed /Cauldron of Souls , and blood artist or Grave Pact /card:Death's Presence/Foster maybe try Endless Whispers . See how it works with Grave Pact ...

Also Awakening Zone ties into the whole HP Lovecraft theme... after all... the eldrazi were modeled after the ancient ones

Oh and don't forget Conspiracy and changeling cards... everything will become a fungus and feed the fungus farm... even thelon... then you'll be able to legitimately swing for commander damage

Naturalize fits the theme and is good for edh

Sporemound is guaranteed to get spot when M14 is released. I just wish there would be more ooze/fungus creatures, poor Thelon is getting only around one or two new creatures per set. I'm also hoping that Scavenging Ooze is reprinted as rare so the prices would go down. If it drops to 8-12$ I might be able to squeeze it in.
