@Epochalyptik and ameuser: Diabolic Revelation has save me many times because I can search for as many cards as I want. As for Decree of Pain I was thinking of replacing Cultivate because it is normally a dead draw from my lack of basic land.

Lhurgyof that's true but in the group me and Johnn play in it doesn't matter.

Llanowar Wastes might be able to be replaced too...you can't fetch it, really. And it's a pain land. I run Cultivate with Sakura-Tribe Elder and I only have three basics as well :-). But it's still strong because you're unlikely to draw into your basics so you'll usually get two with it. That's been my experience at least...

Sunpetal Grove and the other core duals may not be the best for you sixe you won't be searching for them and ramping with them since they aren't forests. You have plenty of fetches to get lands of whatever basic type you want, pretty much, so maybe you could add basics to aid ramping? Not sure...

Sorry about not responding right away been busy with school.
If I replaced some of the pain and core dual lands with basic lands like you said ameuser, I may get more use out of cultivate. The question then is what to replace with cultivate?

Not quite sure currently. Why is Champion of Lambholt in te deck? Are there combo capabilities with it?

Champion of Lambholt has a cute interaction with +1/+1 counters and tokens, since you can dump all of your counters onto the champ and swing with everything. It's not the most mana-efficient way to attack, but it gets through.

It took a lot of work trying to trade rather than buy. So far the deck has cost me around $180 which is considerably less than its price tag.

@ameuser, Epochalyptik is right about the champion. I normally use Champion of Lambholt to win with commander damage in case my opponents get massive life or some other way to prevent dying.

@ void.braun: Corpsejack Menace might be a possibility. Mikaeus, the Lunarch is too slow for how this deck functions and card:Cathars' Crusade is already in the deck.

This is an awesome deck to play. Some notes:
- Eternal Witness + Skullclamp + haunted crosstoads = recur 1 draw 1 for 2BGG. Not so efficient
- You really need more basic lands. Your fetchlands, and things like Cultivate or Skyshroud Claim suck otherwise. "Oh, I'll pay four mana for... one forest?"

The fetchlands fetch more than just basic land, they fetch any land with forest subtype. The same goes for Skyshroud Claim .
As for the explanation of the deck I will be rewriting it soon.
