Gaddock Teeg: Oh, you want to board wipe?

Commander / EDH

Kroxloq

Maybeboard

Gaddock Teeg shepherding his flock, protecting from the board wipes!

Utilizing Teeg's abilities to prevent power-house sorceries/instants and the usual arsenal of board wipes. Trying to load the board with fatty creatures and swing hard like Green can do, with white utility.

Since plenty of green's ramp spells are CMC4+ (think Ranger's Path, Explosive Vegetation, others I'm sure I'm forgetting) I went with as much ramp attached to creatures as I could. Ondu Giant, Farhaven Elf help get me up in the mana count to drop big creatures. Since they're creatures, once they do their thing they can chump block or help to swing with Frontline Medic, etc. Bodies are useful.

Decided I needed some Overrun abilities that are under CMC4. Tried to find sweet team enhancements attached to creatures, so Soul of Theros and Kamahl, Fist of Krosa are in. Jazal Goldmane pumps up the team repeatedly. Fortify and Sigil Blessing are underwhelming in other decks, but may have a place here since Gaddock's ability prevents Triumph of the Hordes-like spells. Beastmaster Ascension provides the stats but Bathe in Light will hopefully provide the evasion for a lethal swing, hopefully out of the blue if you can manage a 7 creature attack the turn you play Beastmaster Ascension.

Couple of things to protect Teeg from spot removal. Magebane Armor, Mask of Avacyn and ever handy Whispersilk Cloak. Can also be used with a couple other artifacts to pump up Gaddock Teeg or other beat stick creatures. Strata Scythe can grow large depending on what mana you've been searching. Sword of Vengeance for awesomeness.I placed Stoneforge Mystic and Stonehewer Giant in the deck to tutor/cheat equipment cards into play. Load Teeg up, seach for cards, handy utility.

With lots of mana and creatures your hand will empty quickly. Hopefully Mask of Memory, Soul of the Harvest and Snake Umbra will help keep the hand refreshed. The Mask of Memory is tutor-able too, so I got that goin' for me.

Rest of the deck is pretty straight forward. Play big creatures, assist the team, swing hard, hopefully win. Gotta keep Gaddock Teeg around as much as possible though to prevent the Austere Command, Wrath of God, Damnation or whatever else your buddies run to deal with large threats.
