Maybeboard

I took the better part of 2.5 months to dream up, find combos, build, rebuild, and rebuild again this deck. It started as a concept of wanting to blink things since I had more than a few of the essential ETB white and blue instants and sorceries. I had to decide between Bant or Jeskai colors and ultimatly went with Bant because I just like green. When I happened upon Galadriel, Light of Valinor I was awestruck. Some have made her into an elfball deck. I'm doing elfball with Omnath, Locus of Mana at some point. So I set out to abuse her "other creature enters" ETB effects and...hoo boy does this deck get complicated to keep track of triggers. The name, Galadriel, Dat ETB Thicc Stack is fitting if you intend to actually play this deck. You will need more than a dozen spin down counters to keep track of +1/+1 counters, some other marker to denote the First Strike, Vigilance, or Flying counters that can be created, and you will need to be very good about timing when creatures are ETB'ing in order to get the effect your desiring when you need it. Yes, this is complicated. But the payoff is worth it seeing everyone else's face when they get locked out and are hopelessly behind compared to your constant counter-putting + three free mana a turn + scry+drawing each and every turn.

One thing to note - This deck does need better protection of Galadriel, Light of Valinor as I've played games where the board has been wiped 5 times and I've hard cast her almost that many times. You would think blinking and returning at end of turn would be the answer but honestly I play out all of my mana each turn most turns. And maybe this just calls for adding Geode Golem or Command Tower to the deck, I dont know but I'm hoping for some input so I can better edit this deck.

With that being said, this deck has survived multiple board wipes and targeted removal and plays well on its own thanks to good synergy and not building it relying soley on the Commander, but merely being influenced by it. I'm intentionally posting it here and looking for means of improving the speed of time to win. This deck can win, uninterrupted, as early as turn 7 in simulations and real world games. It can still win on longer games even beyond turn 12. The goal is having it destroy each opponent as quickly as possible by overloading the board by going wide and putting many +1/+1 counters on it while slowing down the opponents board state.

Some will say this is a salty deck. I say, its a winning deck.

These are some notes when drawing your first hand:
- If you have 2 or less lands, take your first mulligan. While this deck can draw into mana easily, having a bad starting position since this deck has a midrange-mana-curve to it can be devestating.
- If you start with a green mana source and Tendershoot Dryad in hand, you are in a good position. It's "each upkeep" effect will trigger the Commander every turn and pump your creatures. Expect removal of it.
- If you start wtih either Emiel the Blessed OR Deadeye Navigator you are in a good position. This will allow you to generate mana from your Commander each turn from their respective FLICKER effects and trigger the other ETB's on the field. Emiel is especially potent considering she requires colorless.

In the Maybeboard some cards are listed with 2x. These are the ones I'm considering moreso then the rest. I need to playtest a few more times with the incoming cards I have in order to better understand what might synergize better.

To Replace
(Note: these cards appear in the decklist here already. I'm waiting for them to arrive in the mail and switch out. Though some I'm not sure if they should be switched.)
- Conjurer's Closet with Blessed Sanctuary?
- Gulf Squid for Oko, Thief of Crowns?
- Flood Plain for Command Tower
- Temple of the False God for Overgrown Farmland
- Forest for Dreamroot Cascade
- Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim *pp* for Charming Prince?

To Consider

Halana, Kessig Ranger
Slippery Bogbonder
Stunt Double
Moon-Blessed Cleric
Haze Frog
Jyoti, Moag Ancient

This is my Bant Blink & Flicker deck. It leans moreso towards control .

Notably, there are an abscence of green only blink cards that will take advantage of Galadriel's Alliance trigger. So instead, I utilize the free mana generally which would include bounce/flicker abilities and playing more spells/creatures which trigger more of Galadriel's oncer-per-turn ETB effects.
ELEMENTS OF THE DECK

CARD DRAW
This deck has the ability to draw more than a few cards per turn whether through Galadriel, Light of Valinor "Scry 2, draw a card" for a single ETB, Guardian Project; Fathom Mage; Dour Port-Mage; Aether Channeler; Danny Pink; Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres; Toothy, Imaginary Friend; Rhystic Study and not mention with Panharmonicon! It can get out of control quite quickly.
This means I need a couple of cards including (Reliquary Tower; Decanter of Endless Water; and Thought Vessel) to take advantage of the large hand I will be having.

BlINK AND FLICKER
These are all of the cards that enable the ETB's to occur. Though there might only be ~15, most of them occur with repeated effects and after the first 5 turns you are bound to run into a few of these cards after your commander enters the field on turn 5. 1. Mistbreath Elder 2. Emiel the Blessed 3. Dour Port-Mage 4. Teleportation Circle 5. Thassa, Deep-Dwelling 6. Abuelo, Ancestral Echo 7. Ephemerate 8. Charming Prince 9. Flicker of Fate 10. Aether Channeler 11. Eerie Interlude 12. Soulherder 13. Salvation Swan 14. Venser, the Sojournerfoil 15. Deadeye Navigator

PLACING COUNTERS
- In spite of The Ozolith price tage (at time of writing, about $30), I still really like its effect and it should be utilized in this deck. Br> Luckily, there are other cards that are similar. Notably, Master Biomancer, Resourceful Defense, Arwen, Weaver of Hope and Denry Klin, Editor in Chief. As I'll be blinking often these will not only stack existing counters but continue to exponentially build upon them when they enter. Coupled with Tendershoot Dryad and/or Chittering Dispatcher on the field could get, potentially speaking, ridiculous.

COMBOS:
This is a brief list of SOME of the combos that exist within the deck.
- Cathars' Crusade + Crystalline Crawler + Fathom Mage + Nadir Kraken = Infinite Draw, Mana, ETB, +1/+1 counters
- Simic Ascendancy + Fathom Mage + Wizard Class + any draw event = Infinite Draw, Infinite +1/+1 counters, WinCon
- Deadeye Navigator + Tanazir Quandrix + Crystalline Crawler + Arwen, Weaver of Hope = Infinite +1/+1 counters, Infinite Mana, Infinite ETB, Infinite LTB
- Emiel the Blessed OR Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake = Infinite Mana, Infinite ETB/LTB
