The goal of the deck is to play Galea, Kindler of Hope and suit her up with Equipments and Auras to beat down the opponents, while using her ability to gain some card advantage in the process.

The curve is particularly low, using mana dorks instead of other forms of ramp to advance quicker than most decks. These dorks are also useful when drawn mid/late game, especially to rebuild after board wipes, because they can be equipped and enchanted.

In order to take full advantage of Galea's ability to cast from the top of the deck, all single target removal in the deck are Auras.
