From the best varolz lists I've seen, I've come to the conclusion that the only creatures worth in including solely for the sake of scavenging are Death's Shadow and Phyrexian Dreadnought . The others are just no where near as efficient. Also, Thrun, the Last Troll and Inkmoth Nexus are amazing here.

hey thank you Blakkhand i forgot to put Inkmoth Nexus in the acquiring board thanks for reminding me of that , i use Nyxathid and Phyrexian Soulgorger because only two scavengers aren't enough ,also pumping up a creature then sacrifice it with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord often assures me the game , i'll give a tough to Thrun, the Last Troll but i think he won't make the cut for being to bad in the graveyard ! thanks for your input !

Lord of Extinction would go well in here depending on how much you dredge. Also, Primeval Titan is banned in commander.

Protean Hulk is also banned.

There are faster way to built a graveyard than dredge. Hermit Druid and cut those basic lands to 5-10. I also love to use Altar of Dementia as a sac outlet that mill myself.

Mind's Eye could help you draw more cards, or dredge on your opponent's turn.

I see a major problem in that deck, you will generate some big creatures with counters and all... But can they connect? You need some landwalk or unblockable or combat tricks so you wont get chump blocked. Also, once you just exiled/scavenged some creatures, a clever opponent will Murder the buffed creature leaving you with nothing. You need some hexproof.

I got two decks you might want to check for idea. My 1 vs 1 deck skullbriar, agro lord, for evasion and protection, and my toolbox reanimator deck Don't touch my graveyard for filling your grave.

Also not sure about french rules, but in official rules Protean Hulk and Primeval Titan are banned....if the prime titan is ok, you should invest in Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Cabal Coffers . Sylvan Scrying could also help that combo. Filth also mix real nice with urborg and will provide evasion.

Lord of Extinction is always a good one to scavenge.

About Filth i prefer Brawn but i'll consider it if i get the lands you talked about ,they would be really great with Primeval Titan allowing me to get that Sylvan Scrying back to the deck!

I don't know if you ever used Varolz, the Scar-Striped as commander ,but the point is not only to dredge rapidly but at some point i'm need to fill my graveyard each turn ! Getting Death's Shadow /Phyrexian Dreadnought to the graveyard and just going in often allows me to win.Scavenging on varolz ,which regenerates from those Murder (i don't see that many people playing them tought) waiting to be sacrified toJarad, Golgari Lich Lord is another way i use to win Thanks you for sharing your opinion !

you have 2 or 3 illegal cards in here but other then that this is a cool deck I run one a lot like it

if you're going infect, you definitely want Inkmoth Nexus in there :)

Definitely want that Vampiric Tutor to fix your draw for the next turn and make it easier to find your win condition. To be able to play at a very high tempo, I would suggest getting rid of any lands that will enter the battlefield tapped. If you get stuck with those in hand and you need to make a land drop, you'll be stuck for a turn having them come in tapped.

hey Smith_and_Tonic thanks for the input there forgot about adding vampiric tutor to the wish list ;about lands: so far Barren Moor and Tranquil Thicket have make me draw usually but i'm thinking about cutting Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds maybe when i get that Vampiric Tutor as replacement for Tainted Pact forcing me to play more of nonbasics lands and the snow covered i got

Shouldn't Dark Confidant be accompanying Ad Nauseam and Dark Tutelage (unless this is for budget reasons)? Also, I really like Hatred here, as the deck is already trying to do very similar things with scavenged creatures.

even if the deck is played casually of course i would like to get Dark Confidant some day, Hatred seems overpriced but thanks anyway !

Cool Deck! I would take out Hex Parasite just because if someone uses Mindslaver and takes your turn they can kill you by activating his ability for 0 over and over again. Maybe throw in some unblockable or shadow like Tormented Soul or Nether Traitor . Check out my B/G commander deck too! The Darkest Soul

Hey Squirrel_of_War thanks for your suggestions there ! Nether Traitor used to be there in an earlier version of this deck but it has been cut because he doesn't do much if i can't scavenge onto him or if Skullclamp isn't around ... But i'm keeping it in my mind maybe it could come back later !

I mostly play against Animar, Soul of Elements , so i could say that Hex Parasite is kind of build against him, also it provides me a way to deal with planeswalker or any permanents with counters on them, about Mindslaver 's situation you told me about if Varolz, the Scar-Stripped is out i just sacrifice the parasite or i'll let it happened since it will be once in a lifetime :)

One other card I would suggest is Homeward Path Since you play against a Talrand deck.
