Crow_Umbra feedback prior to full release and post release would be appreciated- I'll detail the full set once I've got some community feedback. Would you be interested in being the first?

Thank you for sharing Andramalech, I'll take a look and offer some feedback once I've had a chance to check it out in detail. I'm about to hop into a D&D session, so I'll carve out some time tomorrow to take a look over and get back to you.

The knight subtheme is cool. I have a few random thoughts more than suggestions:

  • Since Garland's first ability triggers off non-creature spells, would you consider something like Birgi, God of Storytelling  Flip? She could help with chaining your cheaper non-creature spells.

  • Untimely Malfunction could be a helpful utility piece, especially clearing out blockers for your Voltron-y stuff.

  • Sazacap's Brew occupies a kinda similar space as options like Demand Answers & Thrill of Possibility.

  • "Further cards that I deem worthy are things that make reference to Chaos", surprised I don't see Chaos Warp in here lol.

  • Not to cross IPs too much, but Brotherhood Regalia could also be a fun equipment piece for Garland.

Crow_Umbra:

Thanks for the feedback, I'm pretty sure all of it will make this iteration of the list. Can't wait for full spoiler season.

I also wanted to commend you on including Kulrath Knight. That's one of the favorite cards of my best friend that got me into MtG. Some of my earliest MtG memories are getting wrecked by his BR Wither deck, sometime around 2013 lol.

Crow_Umbra it's a nod to the utterly nonsensical creatures found in early Final Fantasy games. The spirit is championed even two to three decades later, however.. the programming had to come a long way.

If you were an unlucky player as I was. You could stumble into a high-level area unbeknownst to the user, and the random creature level jump was staggering. One of the creatures you had a chance to face down was some type of early dragoon creature, who this guy Kulrath Knight reminded me of.

I also have a fondness for Lorwyn as one of the oldest sets I recall it's influences on the game.

Magic is really cool, bringing people together like that.
