The owner of a cardshop in town had an Underworld Dreams + Wheel of Fortune deck that was all he played when he wasn't busy. his name was Gary, so I named the deck after him.

When Time Spiral came out I decided to remake his deck in Standard, and I've evolved it since then to be Modern legal. It's surprisingly effective, if somewhat boring after a while. It used to use Wheel of Fate instead of Reforge the Soul, so I'm very thankful for Innistrad block saving me 4 turns. The surprise factor of this deck is particularly devastating, and WoF ruined that a little.

This deck may be expensive to build, but I've had it and enjoyed playing it for a long, long time, and I'm sure it will be one of the decks I never take apart, so I consider it worth the investment.
