Shadowy death deck!
The idea is pretty simple: give weak Shadow creatures debilitating strengths, and the ability to kill any "destructible" creature by using a combination of Shadow giving cards: Dauthi Trapper, Dauthi Embrace. Granting Shadow to my own creatures, or giving my opponents Shadow grants a couple advantages!
First, Dauthi Cutthroat has the ability to obliterate Shadow creatures for 2 CMC. This creature has a native Shadow buff, increasing my presence of Shadow creatures for Dauthi Warlord. Dauthi Trapper also assists in providing a free Shadow buff, which is perfect for enemies, or the heavy non-Shadow creatures in the deck. Dauthi Embrace is the last way to selectively use Shadow, and is probably the strongest method (although it costs 2 CMC!).
Second, granting Shadow to my opponents can also be a selective deterant, effectively halting a creature from attacking you with Maze of Shadows. This will help with defense, as Shadow creatures aren't really able to defend well. Granting Shadow to an enemy creature can also make it blockable, which could be beneficial.
Third, the heavy hitting creatures Desecration Demon, Abyssal Persecutor and Stronghold Overseer provide a defensive bonus if untapped, or will provide an excellent form of offense when paired with Shadow. Crypt Ghast, Dark Ritual and Diabolic Tutor assist with locating and casting these heavy hitters. Once in play, these creatures will do a lot of unblockable damage, if needed. Granting Shadow to Abyssal Persecutor will also allow me to send it back to the abyss when needed!
I've put in a number of artifacts, which are designed to be most effective when hitting players, as Shadow creatures should be more-or-less unblockable. Bloodforged Battle-Axe is for general offense, and should create plenty of copies for my creatures. Dragon Throne of Tarkir provides board-wide power and toughness, assisting in doing damage, or protecting creatures. Specter's Shroud provides early power and easy discard advantages. Mask of Avacyn will keep your most valuable creatures active and healthy. Jet Medallion doesn't really need an explanation.
Finally, I've included some cipher cards, due to my creatures being more-or-less unblockable. Undercity Plague is a game ending card against certain decks, and very easy to cast when working with Crypt Ghast. Mental Vapors is another, which is used for card-discard. Terror simply backs up creature destruction, mainly for early game. These cards shouldn't be a focus point, but offer some additional support. Bile Blight also provides support against a single card, or dozens of filthy tokens.
The last card worth mentioning here would be the big-baddie Stronghold Overseer. If and when this creature comes out, you'll be able to turn your 8-30 Black-Mana into a large chunk of damage, which is ideal when attacking with several shadow creatures, as their native damage is very low.
