Sideboard

My go at a budget standard deck. Using TCG Mid Prices when I built this it came just under $100 which in my mind is a fair budget price for a standard deck at a competitive FNM level.

This deck may not be the best out there but for the price it can be a lot of fun and definitely win you some games at your local game store.

Sideboarding

Sideboarding with this deck is straightforward as you only really want to customize your removal for whichever deck you are facing.

For black based midrange decks (Mardu and Abzan) the Dark Betrayals are your best friend, you may not be able to stop the 6 point life swing from them casting Siege Rhino but you can get rid of it for 1 mana. Not to mention having your opponent playing a Butcher of the Horde and sacrificing his guys to it just for you to kill it with a one mana instant.

The naturalizes are meant for the FNM meta where you will likely play against a couple ascendency combo decks and potentially the UR artifacts deck. The combination of you also being aggressive and being able to slow their 5/5 ornithopters down and blow up the enchantments on their indestructible lands should hopefully be enough to get you a win.

The Setessan Tactics are a great removal plan that capitalizes on you running so many deathtouch creatures. It is great at shooting down flyers or getting rid of troublesome utility creatures your opponent won't attack or block with.

Lastly the Nylea's Disciple is for the Jeskia and Mono-Red matchups where it is hard to race but easy to stabilize and come back with a couple bestow creatures. The extra bit of lifegain is enough to push us into the turn where we can steal the game.
