Acidic Slime: Blows stuff up, and then turns into a Wurmcoil Engine.
Birds of Paradise: Gotta love the little guys.
Entomber Exarch: Disruption or recursion. Nice and versatile, helps to round off the curve a little more.
Glissa, the Traitor: As if only first strike and deathtouch weren't enough, she brings back Wurmcoil Engine, Phyrexian Metamorph, and destroyed Birthing Pods.
Hollowhenge Scavenger: Basically filling in for Obstinate Baloth, just one more mana, one more life, one more toughness. True, it doesn't have the discard effect, but it's good anyways.
Massacre Wurm: Board wipe against aggro decks. This card by itself can deal massive damage.
Morkrut Banshee: Fetching it with pod guarantees a free Grasp of Darkness, and you get a 4/4.
Phyrexian Metamorph: Messes with converted mana costs for pod and copies big threats on either side of the board.
Phyrexian Rager: Useful for sacrificing to pod, or fetching with a Viridian Emissary.
Sheoldred, Whispering One: After you get her with a Wurmcoil Engine she gets to bring it back. And then more stuff. Did I mention it kills your opponent's creatures off?
Skinrender: Removal. Rounds off 4-costs.
Solemn Simulacrum: Rampant Growth with a cantrip that also gets creatures from pod.
Sylvok Replica: Tutor this guy up if you need artifact hate.
Viridian Corrupter: Same as Sylvok Replica, just less versatile, but you do get to keep the 2/2.
Viridian Emissary: Rampant Growth that works with pod, and swings for damage.
Wurmcoil Engine: The powerhouse.
Beast Within, Dismember, Doom Blade, Go for the Throat: Kill stuff.

2 - 0 Myr Artifact Stuff?
Odd deck, but it was ok. Tempered Steel plus myr and Mentor of the Meek. The built-in artifact hate made the matchup easy.
1 - 0 U/W Control
We go into topdeck mode, me with a Glissa on the table and him with Moorland Haunts and plenty of targets. When I Beast Within one of his spirits, getting a Wurmcoil with Glissa, he quits.
1-0 Mono B Infect
I just have too much removal for him to handle. He quits after realizing I'll kill him next turn.
2-1 U/B Control
Sort of a discard/reanimate type thing, with Liliana of the Veil, Phyrexian Obliterator, and Unburial Rites. He had some pretty crazy plays. G1 I was able to take his threats out with removal and push through with a Massacre Wurm and friends. G2 I lost after he sideboarded in Nihil Spellbomb and I wasn't able to use any recursion. A Liliana controlled my board while he beat me up with an Obliterator. G3 was relatively short, I open with Birds, he gets an obliterator out, I copy it twice with metamorphs and kill it with go for the throat. GG.
