Current Thoughts

It seems as if the meta is heading more towards control styles. There are still going to be fast aggro decks as well. However, the deck seems to cater to mid-range and aggro fairly well. If it can be tweaked so that aggro becomes a 1-3 cards in sideboard and 1-2 in mb then the deck might be good enough against aggro. Therefore, the sideboard can be tweaked more for against control.

The current idea is to use something that counteracts fieldwipes. Strangleroot geist is perfect for edicts and he can survive wipes as well. However, the auras will fall off of him. Thus, something that can come in after the wipe or indestructibility could be used. Rootborn Defenses, Murder Investigation , Restoration Angel, and Predator Ooze seem to be the top picks to play against esper or bant control. The hard part is maintaining consistency with the combo while using these cards. Nevermore is also a prime candidate.

As of right now, I'm merely searching for the perfect sideboard cards that will help to answer against control and maintain a hold against aggro.
