Things like Banishing Light , Detention Sphere , Oblivion Ring , Fiend Hunter , and Council's Judgment are all bad in mutliplayer EDH. Or is this 1v1? Council's judgment is bad because voting doesn't work the way you want in big games and the rest are easily broken by wipes/spot removal in which case you're down a card and you could also trigger ETB abilities a second time.

Then you should change the format to Duel Commander.

Consider Military Intelligence since it triggers when geist attacks.

Also why no Runechanter's Pike ? Serum Visions ?

Tata Military Intelligence isn't a bad idea, I considered Serum Visions but I felt that was the weakest of the cantrips, Brainstorm , Ponder and Preordain are definitely the best.

I will give it more playtesting and see what I think.

Have you considered Grand Arbiter Augustin IV ? It seems like it would give you a very hefty discount on quite a few of your spells while also slowing down you opponents.

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV seems nice but most of the time I don't like to tap out, only when playing Geist.

Have you considered using cards such as Vedalken Shackles and Helm of Possession Helm works quite nicely as you can sacrifice the angel token before the end of the turn to steal someone's creature.

I have feeling that with 11 Islands in total the Shackles might not have their work done and you might be limited to steal just some really small creatures. You also would not play them in early game as you want to have enough mana open for possible counter spells. And later than in the early game, if you want to steal creatures, you can always play cards like Treachery which are good in Geist build as after you cast them, you again have enough mana for some answers. And, if I learned anything during the year of playing Geist EDH, it is that you never want to be tapped out except for the turn in which you play Geist and that you definitely don't want to be playing any mana intense spells, except for instant spells with X in their casting cost.

also i think you could use a Restoration Angel, Flickerwisp or a Brago, King Eternal and Entreat the Angels. i know your deck isnt based off of blinking but it helps your board when you need it to and these value cards are in your colors.

Ihazadeck Thanks for the input, I am currently running Restoration Angel which hasn't been too consistent with the likes of Snapcaster Mage, and ends up being a trick blocker more than anything. I currently have no use for Flickerwisp, in fact I've been thinking of bringing Council's Judgment back in.
