Alright, couple of change.

Removed Suture Priest and 1 Sanguine Bond for 4x Martyr of Sands. Heaps quicker life gain ensues.

Also removed the Vindicate from sideboard for Doom Blade for extra removal and Eternity Vessel for eternal lols.

we do need more girls playing magic, but not with this deck... don't stand a chance agains my modern deck:artifacts-inundation

Added 2x Exquisite Blood. Just too lovely of a card for this deck to pass up

Neat, Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood is like a perpetual death machine! Personally, I'd have 2x Sanguine Bond and only 1x Exquisite Blood though, as Sanguine Bond is more likely, or maybe more guranteed to be activated with this deck.

Check out my all-white take on this deck (Life...It's over 9000! (Modern)). It has less win-cons and relies more on the chalices and felidar sovereign (in cases where the massive creatures can't get the job done for whatever reason), but it usually gets the job done ;)

Awesome Deck here. Similar to what I do with Venser, the Sojourner and Stonehorn Dignitary Lockdown. Cradle my Baneslayer Angel and lots of similar things. +1 for girlfriends playing magic and a baneslayer deck!

Ajani, Caller of the Pride would be pretty baller, Archangel of Thune would be pretty sweet in here as well.

+1 for girls playing. While lifelink does not stack, there are some cards, printed after the lifelink mechanic was created, that have "when this creature deals damage, you gain that much life." That does NOT read as lifelink in the oracle, and that stacks with itself and lifelink. Plus, read Soul Link properly. "When enchanted creature deals OR IS DEALT damage, you gain that much life." so if you block a 4/4 with, say, a 6/6 Ajani's Pridemate that has Soul Link attached, you will gain 6 life off Ajani's Pridemate dealing damage then 4 life off the damage that the 4/4 is dealing the pridemate.

For Modern, this is too slow. Take a look at the soul sisters archetype. In modern you want to win as fast as possible. Lots of 4-6 drops ruins consistency.

Try a Soul Sisters deck, if you really want to have lots of life.

Also, if you want to have a little bit of combo, try adding Sanguine Bond with Exquisite Blood for infinite life and infinite damage.

Brave the Elements, Zealous Persecution, Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim

Soul Warden Suture Priest Soul's Attendant are some decent cards for lifegain decks.

I would put Tainted Remedy in just so your opponents can't gain any life.
