Been playing Piledriver (only x3, doesn't feel right for x4) and it's helped the twin matchup a lot, especially vs UR twin

Hello to everyone!
I found this deck funny and flavorful and i'd love to build it but i have a question..
I keep trying this deck against a (VERY!) casual and (VERY!) weak WB deck that i just made up with my brother's old cards (almost commons only) .. that deck has no real strategy, only ONE 'strong' card (Ghostly Prison) and, well, is just terrible.. but this Goblin deck loses to it too often, and i don't understand how this Goblin deck could/should fight against things like Ethereal Haze or Ghostly Prison..

Goblin Grenade. Lots of Goblin Grenades. Also, Lightning Bolt and any other reasonable burn spell you can think of.
Like Goblin Grenade

I've been trying the deck some more and i have a question..
As Jasinatael wrote, "Krenko's Command is not pulling its weight. It is the last card in my hand that I choose to play and the first card I drop when I sideboard_"
it seems to me that the number of goblins we play is already high enough to make all the strategies (including Goblin Grenades) work pretty good.
what about removing the Krenko's Command to add things like [Lava Spike] or [Vexing Devil] ? (again, i'm a new player, so i don't know many pros&cons of cards..

I would recommend running some number of Goblin Piledrivers, I run 3, many people run 1, etc. I also feel like 4 Shared Animosity is too much, so I've cut down to 1, same for Goblin Chieftain I've gone down to 2. I'm starting to believe that a splash is correct, whether it's Green for Atarka's Command or Black for Spike Jester, I've tried both and they both feel better than Mono Red.

What's your opinion on using Blood Moon + Goblin King ?

I haven't played in over a year, almost 2. Didn't know piledriver wad reprinted. That alone is bringing me back.

Subterranean Scout makes a piledriver unblockable. It's a game ended when pained with either piledriver or rabblemaster

glad you're back.. i start playing the game thanks to you and this deck (i'm a big fan of silly things and especially of nice, dumb, noisy goblins :) )
there's a lot of details i would like to ask you (i've never used the private chat but i'll gladly ask you something there if possible)
btw i think the Piledriver completely change the strategy of the deck.. now i'm playing with NO token-making cards (no Mogg War Marshal, no Krenko's Command) and i think that maybe even Foundry Street Denizen should be replaced by a one-drop more synergic with the Piledriver. And maybe even Shared Animosity is no more the best card for my decklist
With the new decklist that piledriver enables, i think the player can win even more constistently on turn 4 and with more damage done (of course, i'm a very inexperienced new player, so i don't know if my decklist is weaker against the current meta)

I think piledriver changes this deck a good amount. I try to make small changes so I can measure the impact without throwing every thing out of wack. My first tournament back will be next Thursday. I will post my results.

I'd recommend cutting some, if not all, Shared Animosity. The last thing you want is getting your board wiped turn two and only playing a useless enchant turn three. Multiples, while they stack, are just redundant and win-more. I'd recommend 2 more Goblin Piledriver in a few of those slots. I'd also recommend a small splash of green for Atarka's Command as it regularly does 5-6 damage when played. I know it isn't quite as good as Grenade but there's a good reason it's played in burn. This gives you additional reason to throw in fetches in pair with making late game draws more relevant.

first of all, people.. a question :) what about Raid Bombardment for the sideboard?
about the decklist.. yes, right now Shared Animosity just isn't that much worth playing. Before Goblin Piledriver , in a deck like this the Player could use Dynacharge with same results.. and even then, it wasn't really necessary. I've tried countless times, and i seriously believe there's no point in playing it against Dynacharge, as you can now play with less goblins (i mean less on the board.. not less goblin cards in the deck) to win faster.
After weeks of testing, my personal recommendations would be:
1) 4 (yes, four) Piledriver.. at least, never less than 3.
2) Do NOT play Krenko's Command . You are NEVER gonna use it.
3) Only use Mogg War Marshal if you think board wipe is gonna be a thing.. otherwise, you are NEVER gonna use it. Mardu Scout now could finally be a better choice
4) Play max 3 Goblin Chieftain .. you will always prefer having Goblin Bushwhacker in your hand (amazing with Piledriver.. it's the best card for turn 3 win)
5) Forgive my English
6) Last (because you're all gonna laugh at my face for writing this).. i'm using 2/3 Vexing Devil . I know everyone think it sucks..but i've tried it, and i think the balance between creature and instant/sorcery in this deck is perfect to play it.

I updated the deck to reflect the changes I made. Sorry for the confusion, I fully intended to run 4 piledrivers. I dropped 1 shared animosity and I may drop a 2nd. It really can win the game for you. It's not just a win more card. But you don't need 2 on the table.
The last krenkos command is really a place holder, not sure what to run. 2 of something.
I can't see splashing green, it just seems with such a small land count it would lead to mana issues. Extra burn maybe?

4x Wooded Foothills, 4x Bloodstained Mire and 2x Stomping Ground. You'll always have red and green, every game.

So you suggest drop blood moon from the sideboard? I don't see the addition worth it.
December 30, 2015 1:34 p.m.
No, drop A Command when siding in Blood Moon. Besides there are plenty of two color builds with Blood Moon in the 75. Twin and Blue Moon to name a few. I'm just saying i would consider it as it is a much stronger burn option than any other card. It has modes and synergizes with the going-wide game plan.

I just am not sure a green splash would be best. Is it better than white or black? They all have some nice possible additions. I will try small changes and see how it performs.

Personally, I like the White splash in Goblins better than Green. Green gives you Atarka's Command and Become Immense (I only recommend using BI with lots of burn and War Marshall), but White gives you Boros Charm and MUCH better removal options like Path to Exile (think Wurmcoil Engine) and stuff like Rest in Peace if your meta calls for Yard hate. I actually run Green and White in my Goblins, with Command in the main, and Charm/RIP/PtE in the side. So far I really like the balance and versatility that offers, although admittedly I haven't played my Goblins at FNM for a few months (Affinity is too fun and good :P). I keep plenty of fetches and Stomping Ground and Sacred Foundry in my land base, which is fine because I don't care much about my life total in a turn 4 deck. Actually, I also run Rakdos Charm in my side too, so it's actually 4 color Goblins lol. But the deck is just as consistent either way as long as you have the fetches and shocks. I've never had a problem getting mana screwed color-wise; it happens with too few lands sometimes, but that will happen in Goblins occasionally even if you run 1 color.

Played in a local tournament tonight did pretty poor. First match was fish. They won 2-0. We played some more to kill time and I won the next two. Nothing I could do there. Speading seas killed me when I got stuck on 2 lands. Next game I got him to 2 and couldn't close.
Next I played burn. Crushed it.
3rd was twin. I didn't recognize it and he pulled the combo 4th turn, I couldn't stop it. Our next match I got mana flooded. Starting hand had 3 lands and I top decked 6 more before he won.
Last was lantern. I got him to 5 life, 2nd game 4 life. Not sure what to do. He hit my hand early and started deciding what I would draw later. He took my burn away and his bridge stopped my gobs. I sided in artifact hate but couldn't use it. Need some help with that match up.

I'm sorry, i know i'm new and probably my help is useless.. but i've to say again: Piledriver CHANGE your strategy and your deck.. before you think about how to respond to the different decks you're going to play against, you have to optimize your deck.. and now it really doesn't make very sense to me. Why are you still playing 1 Krenko's Command? What's the point in playing Mogg War Marshal or FOUR Goblin Chieftain?
Thanks to piledriver you now don't need tokens 'cause you don't need many creatures to win at turn 3 and 4.. now you can swing for lots of damage with less creatures, which means you have a little more free space for burns or for options that normally we won't consider:
Silly example: if you play with tokens (and, more generally, with more goblins on the field) of course Shared Animosity is awesome.. but with the 'Piledriver Deck', at the fourth turn 8 times out of 10 a mediocre card like Dynacharge wins you the game and Shared Animosity doesn't.
This is a deck that can win something only with the perfect side, and you can't have the perfect side if you don't optimize the main deck before.
So if you still play 4 Mogg War Marshals, 4 Goblin Chieftain, 3 Shared Animosity.. then is better to play this deck as it was before Piledriver, without using it. If you wanna use Piledriver, then use less tokens, a little more burn (even weird, situational burn like Vexing Devil and you'll have the space to use your sideboard in the best way without sacrificing the speed of this deck in winning the game. And forgive my English, always :)

Not sure I agree. Piledriver only works when you have other goblins on the table. Tokens are useful. As for the krenkos command, I said before that it was only a place holder. You can't just run piledriver and burn. Vexing devil doesn't add anything to this deck. Not unless I drop all the goblins except guide and run RDW. That's a different deck.Goblin chieftain is there mostly for the haste. If he drops turn 3 then turn 4 can be big. A surprise piledriver with haste could make all the difference.Shared animosity is only worse than dynacharge if you only have 1 goblin, in which case they both suck. At least shared animosity will still be there next turn.

Love this list. How do you feel about one or two Sensation Gorger? Since the deck is very fast, you can dump your hand pretty quick, then drop a Gorger last. Next turn, reload the hand and force your opponent to discard. I'm probably going to use this list to start my own goblin build, so +1 from me!
