Added 4x Voracious Dragon to the sideboard because I have noticed a slight weakness in some of the decks I face at my weekly tournament. I will see how it works out tonight.

Got third place in the tournament. Only loss was to a mono red burn deck. The Voracious Dragon was not any help either. Not sure what to do to beat burn though.

Placed first today in a 11 man modern tournament. The deck did great, Blood Moon finally paid off. Going to trade my prize, Domri Rade , for two Goblin Guide . Not sure what to take out. Suggestions would be great.

i play goblin explosive aggro in high end modern and i win in 3-5 turns due to aggro very often, most weeks i go 2-2, 3-1 or 4-0, 4 Goblin Guide is a MUST for this deck as are 4x Cavern of Souls to avoid counterspells. i tried Krenko, Mob Boss for a few months but found he was way too slow and I won before I even had the mana to cast him, and when i did he was almost always killed/exiled. I often mainboard 3x Blood Moon and 3x Goblin King for the land control and unblockable swingers, its a great combo, i only run 2-3 Warren Instigator they are a great card but lack the haste of most other goblins and only useful if they arent blocked, ive also ran Shared Animosity and found it to be a little too slow as well as a bit overkill (not needed, already have huge aggro swingers) and a Goblin King Blood Moon or Goblin Chieftain is almost always a better option for 3 mana.
Smash to Smithereens performs way better than Smelt , yes its 1 extra mana but goblin is an aggro deck so the 3 damage has much more synergy with the goal of the deck (getting opponents life to 0 asap)
Dismember is great to get rid of big ass creatures that will pose a threat to goblins such as Wurmcoil Engine Tarmogoyf since this is an aggressive deck you normally wont mind paying 4 life and 1 mana to get rid of huge game-winning creatures and continue your assault.
been recently testing Sensation Gorger and it works surprisingly well, as with this deck you will be top-decking (no hand, playing the card you draw each turn) very early in the game and this allows you to draw 4 cards instead of 1 without discarding while also milling/discarding your oppenent. it accellerates your aggro and is a great form of control, i use it often in my red/black aggro control variant goblin offensive (they certainly are) and both are very strong in my modern matchups

First off thanks for the suggestions. I haven't been running Goblin Guide because I couldn't afford him. I do intend to get them this week. I am going to remove Krenko, Mob Boss to make room, though I am unsure what other two cards to drop. I think that Cavern of Souls is overrated. I really don't care if someone spends two of three mana to stop a one or two mana drop from me. I want them to leave mana open and play defensive because I will win. I do not main board Blood Moon because I find it is a dead card in about half my games. I used to sideboard Goblin King for the same reason you have it but I found that it really doesn't help until fourth turn and the Legion Loyalist , Shared Animosity combo works better and faster.
I like Smelt over Smash to Smithereens because of that one mana. With one mana I can play a goblin and end up doing more than 3 damage. They are close in power but I want that artifact destruction one turn earlier.
Dismember is something to consider. I try not to spend too much time at control but it would have its uses. I don't worry about Tarmogoyf because if it is big the game has lasted too long, otherwise I will just swarm and lose one goblin. Wurmcoil Engine is just nasty. I use Smelt . Of course I should have the game won before it is played.
Sensation Gorger is too expensive. I have plenty of three mana drops already, I cannot afford to run another one. Besides he doesn't do anything until fourth turn and is an easy target for removal. Compare him to other three mana drops and he is not worth a slot in the deck. I would run Browbeat before him. 5 damage or three cards on turn three not four, way better. It would work well against control decks but I like to hold my Lightning Bolt and Goblin Grenade until I can either finish with them or take out an important blocker, I do not want to discard them.
My deck wins because I kill faster than anyone else. I do not try and control them, I just win before they can hit their combos. All that matters is speed!

yes and Goblin Guide Sensation Gorger are the absolute best cards for goblin aggro decks, Goblin Guide is prettyobvious why, 2 damage turn 1 for 1 mana, Sensation Gorger yes it is 3 mana, but by turn 3 you almost ALWAYS have 3 accessible mana and can play any card in the deck, the reason why it is so good is because you are focusing on SPEED, you will use every 1-2 drop card in your hand by turn 4 every game and have no hand = no cards to play, no lightning bolts, nothing, Sensation Gorger makes it so that on your turn instead of picking up 1 card and praying to the deck gods its a good one, you draw 4, giving you 4x the options without the disadvantage of discarding. it ALSO discards the opponents hand and denies them of any of their options to stop your onslaught, also, because the majority of the deck is 1-2 mana, you can easily play all 4 cards in your hand and draw another 4 next turn, making your deck 4 times as aggressive and making you be able to play many more of your creature cards, each turn,
TLDR: it accellerrates aggro making the deck 4 times as "speedy" which is exactly what you are aiming for, and it also discards the opponents hand (usually 4 from effect) each turn, effectively milling 4 and denying them of options. its a must-have in goblin aggro speed

I am not disputing Goblin Guide . I stated I intend to put it in. I am unsure how you are dropping your whole hand as fast as you say. Lets say first turn you play one land and one spell. Turn turn draw, back to 6, play a land and maybe two spells. Third turn draw back to 4 and play a third land and Sensation Gorger . Fourth turn you throw away three cards to draw four. I do not think it is worth my third turn. Heck, I like to play a two mana drop on turn 2 so I will be dumping four cards for four cards on turn 4. I will likely be trading four playable cards for three and a fourth land, which I do not need. Not to mention I would rather play a Goblin Chieftain or Shared Animosity on my third turn or maybe a Blood Moon . You also mention the mill factor which does not do anything. You both drop the same number of cards and ensure that no one misses any land drop. I only need three lands to win. Basically it is a neat card but it does not speed up my deck, it may slow down my opponent but it is not worth the turn. I hope this does not come off as rude I just wish to state why I will not run the card, you are free to if you find it helps.

Heyy... this deck looks familiar. I made a very similar deck a while back: How to deal 257 damage on Turn 4 What are your thoughts on legion loyalist? Also, it seems like 18 lands isn't very much at all and you would end up getting mana screwed a lot. I think you should also main-deck Krenko, as he's a key part of the deck. I love modern goblins, although I havn't gotten any real opportunities to play my deck +1

I had a basic goblin deck that was similar to this one until I saw your deck. I got the idea to use Shared Animosity from you, so thank you. I love Legion Loyalist he makes sure all that extra damage gets through thanks to the trample, the first strike helps as well. I never get mana screwed though, I just make sure I start with two lands and I usually get the third by the third turn. I play this deck at a local tournament weekly. I have been doing very well. I used to main deck Krenko but it seemed that he was always a target for removal and I never got to use him. Besides with the lower land count I use I don't hit four mana in four turns. I just dropped him two days ago and I may go back. He seems to be a 'win more' card and you either end up needing something else or you do 100 damage when you only needed 10. I also decided to make my deck a bit different than yours. I think it is very important to run a full playset of both Lightning Bolt and Goblin Grenade . I also put the Blood Moon in the sideboard. I never tried Siege-Gang Commander . I used to keep it in the sideboard but I never wanted it. 5 mana is just too much and Warren Instigator is not reliable enough to keep the commander in the deck. I will mention your impact in my description though!

@jasinatael All are very good suggestions. I have actually adjusted the deck to include the 4 lightning bolts as well as removing the siege-gangs. 2 things I'm considering are Boggart Ram-Gang , for the hasty awesomeness, and splashing black for some Spike Jester s as well as some other general awesomness. Mad Auntie ? Bump in the Night ? As well as more side-board cards.

I think that a black splash would work great. I will keep mine mono-red because I think multi-color decks run a little slower. Spike Jester and Mad Auntie would be awesome though. As for the Boggart Ram-Gang I wouldn't play it. I think that you would be better served with playing two or even three lower costing creatures. Shared Animosity , Goblin Chieftain , and Krenko, Mob Boss will pay off more with the more creatures you have. I would consider Goblin King if you wish to add another three drop, he works great if you are keeping Blood Moon in the mainboard. I have considered adding him but I will need to playtest it more. I also wouldn't use Bump in the Night there are other good red cards that would add more burn to the deck if you need it. Examples being; Rift Bolt and Lava Spike .

I removed Warren Instigator and put Dragon Fodder in. I got 1st place tonight again but I seem to never get any use out of Warren Instigator . Krenko's Command is great so I guess the Dragon Fodder will be also.

Shattering Spree may work better. I like the instant speed of Smelt but the mass removal maybe more useful. Thanks for the suggestion.

What Whiskerbro said, I would remove two of your token makers (Dragon/Krenko) to fit them in because they are a absolute must in a goblin deck and you already have enough token generators. :3

I don't have any mana acceleration and modern is a 4 turn win format. Krenko, Mob Boss comes too late to be of any use. He is only good if I have a Goblin Chieftain on the table so I can use him right away. That is unlikely. I use to have him in the deck but he didn't work out. It was almost always a dead card. There are several more expensive cards out there that are great for this kind of deck that I have tried: Voracious Dragon , Burn at the Stake , Siege-Gang Commander , and Krenko, Mob Boss . They are all just too slow.

Does Mogg Fanatic hit anything besides bob? Goblin Arsonist allows you to do more with grenade and 2 damage to one creature with a block. Not a fan of Krenko's Command , you could run raging goblin just for the haste or a couple of Stingscourger s to get rid of any roadblocks. Both Signal Pest and Goblin Wardriver are slow but decent options also. Cavern of Souls is a great land if you have any control in your area.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will try to address each one. I have found Mogg Fanatic never gets blocked. He always gets his damage through but I am going to drop him, he is too slow. Raging Goblin is possible in his place. I like Krenko's Command for the card advantage that it offers and it works well with Foundry Street Denizen . I never really considered Stingscourger , I don't know know useful it would be, maybe if Goblin Chieftain was in play. Signal Pest will not help with Shared Animosity and will never get bigger than it is. I had Goblin Wardriver in here a while back but it was too slow. I need to get a couple Cavern of Souls I just haven't bought them yet.

The only reason why I am holding on to Krenko, Mob Boss is because he is just a awesome card despite there are other cards that could fit aggro better and the fact that when you combo it with Goblin Chieftain it has amazing results. If you really want to run him just for the hell of it lower him down to one so it does not affect your deck speed plus it gives you more space to work with! :3
