From my experience, Crush of Tentacles is a great sideboard card verse GB. Since they sometimes board in Lost Legacy, Crush gives you an alternative win and a tempo board wipe. Plus the Octopus is always guaranteed. Have you actually played with the deck yet?

@Ashcashcash Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't had time to post my results yet, but I played it at FNM for the first time and went 2-2, which is better than I thought this would do honestly. After playing standard, I have several changes to the sideboard for this deck. Mainboard is perfect for game 1, sideboard is very very important. Crush of Tentacles was a maybe before, but now it's definitely going in sideboard. I'll update results and changes as soon as I can. Thanks!

FullmetalWes - I just realized that since your deck is mono blue compared to my version, you may benefit more from a card like Engulf the Shore. I also agree that you should have a copy or two of Crush of Tentacles in the side board. While it might bounce your reservoirs, it wipes away EVERYTHING, letting you replay your cantrips like Prophetic Prism and Glint-Nest Crane. Plus having an 8/8 makes it hard for opponents to get through safely, especially after wiping the field.

Also, if for some reason, you get stuck in the late game, I find that one copy of Torrential Gearhulk is always useful. Need a Paradoxical Outcome? Bam, you got it. Need a counter spell? Bam, you got it. Need a safe blocker? Bam, you got it. It's not necessary per say, but it's extremely useful, and can be used to extend your storm count.

@Alphamew17 Those are some great ideas. I played FNM with this and the people I played against recommended Crush of Tentacles too. I do have a spare Torrential Gearhulk that I could throw in, flashing back Paradoxical Outcome and having a blocker is very effective. I'm not even considering splashing black for Tezzeret's Touch, Contraband Kingpin and/or Tezzeret, Master of Metal as alternative win cons/more options. Thanks for the ideas and I will update my changes and results on here.

Have you thought about Kefnet the Mindful? Noticed haze of pollen in the deck from Ahmonket; Kefnet would be an extra win con, you'll likely to have 7 cards in hand quite a bit and makes for a nice combat trick to Paradoxical Outcome and instant speed to get enough cards in hand to block after they declare attacks

@Neomaster20 That's actually a pretty solid idea! I've been trying to think of alternate win-cons for this deck, because I really should have another one and that is a definite possibility. Thanks!

If you run Kefnet the Mindful you can go ahead and change 4 lands to Fetid Pools. Lets you splash for black in your main/sideboard and returning a Fetid Pools to your hand late game allows for extra card draw via cycling.

@Xazrael That's an idea I've been considering. After Zendikar block rotates out of Standard I'm losing my Bone Saw so I will need to come up with other strategies like this. Thanks for the comment.

Yea, you will be losing Cathar's Shield too. Hopefully they give us some more 0 drop artifacts.

Was looking for some alternate ideas for my own deck and ran across this: http://magic.wizards.com/en/events/coverage/ptaer/round-14-white-blue-aetherflux-reservoir-2017-02-04

Since you are already splashing white, some of the tech cards he uses would slot pretty neatly into your deck.
