New to EDH? Don't want to get ostracized by everyone for playing jackass cards?This deck is for people who want to join an EDH group for the first time and get a feel for what people are willing to tolerate without finding out the hard way. Make some friends and learn the metagame.The philosophy of the deck is to be the least threatening person on the table, with the least possible chance of making everyone else wish they weren't playing with you. The deck is not geared towards winning, and probably won't win, ever. The deck is built around 5 mechanics: Ping or attack unblocked, Gain control of threats, Bounce threats, Copy threats, Cantrip

The deck is meant to be political with a democratic slant. If players don't like a threat, bounce it or take it. If they do like something, copy it so they'll like it more. Maybe change a target or two for good measure. Try to check combo decks, like elves, by pinging the weak combo pieces.

This deck does not want to: Counterspell, Hard lock, Deny, Board Wipe, Hate

Controversial cards in the deck:Mana Vortex

Mana Vortex isn't too invasive. Also, gotta test those social waters at some point!

I picked Rayne as the commander because she's the most passive and peaceful general, and rewards you for being targeted by hate. Also, she is easy to cast several times if needed.If you can recommend anything in the spirit of the deck, feel free to do so. The deck is budget and doesn't want to go over 100.00
