This deck is a Mono-White Soldier Tribal deck. It aims to play really small and efficient early game threats and tokens to cast Obelisk of Urd and win by Turn 4-6.
-THE SOLDIERS-
4x Soldier of the Pantheon- Our only 2/1 for 1 mana Soldier. With his other abilities, he gives us the advatage against Abzan Aggro decks.
4x Favored Hoplite- 1/2 Soldier that becomes bigger everytime it's targeted, and the deck has plenty of ways to do this.
4x BanAnafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit- Bear for two mana, but gives our units some extra stats to keep out of Drown in Sorrow range.
4x Phalanx Leader- The sole reason we stuff Heroic-trigger spells in here anyway.
4x Brimaz, King of Oreskos- Strong soldier that calls Soldiers. Upon bijschjdbcd's prodding, I have decided to max this awesome powerhouse.
-THE AMMUNITION-
4x Gods Willing- Protection plus Heroic triggers plus scry. Everything you could want from a 1-drop spell
4x Raise the Alarm- Basically two 1/1 Soldiers for 2 mana. Efficient enough to run.
2x Preeminent Captain- In testing with Boza's recommendation.
4x Obelisk of Urd- The only reason this deck exists.
4x Defiant Strike- Cantrip heroic trigger. Good enough for me.
Our sideboard is diversely equipped with tools to help us push our Soldiers through any deck.
-THE SIDEBOARD-
2x Ajani's Presence- Helps us protect our creatures from removal, while also helping us push a little extra damage. I tend to think of these and Gods Willings as if they were 1-drop counterspells for spot removal.
2x Glare of Heresy- The meta's filled with big, white stuff, so this'll find some use.
4x Leonin Snarecaster- 2/1 Soldier that helps us push damage through Courser of Kruphix decks, like Abzan, G/x Devotion, and the big-type aggro decks like Temur, R/G, and the list goes on. Has been awesome in testing.
3x Pacifism- I find that I usually side this in Game 2 and side it out Game 3. If your opponent configures his sideboard for Game 3 and you happened to haveused one of these Game 2, SIDE IT OUT. They are most likely adding in their enchantment-hate that they didn't add to their deck yet.
2x Return to the Ranks- Useful against control's boardwipes. Always remember that Bananafenza #2 triggers for each creature that is revived this way.
2x Surge of Righteousness- Thank you Blades_Of_Autumn for bringing this to my attention. I think this might be the answer for RDW that I was looking for. Deals with all Goblin Rabblemasters while giving a little help in our race for damage against the decks that typically use him. We don't care too much that Rabble still produces two tokens, because most of our creatures can outsize those 1/1s.
It says the price is 100$, but according to InDirectX, the deck's price is apparently only 72$, if you check in TCGPlayer's cart optimizer. However, recent updates have pushed the price up to about 125$. However, this price seems inaccurate, as all we really added that has a significant pricetag was two more Brimaz. Cardkingdom says it's 126$, so now I doubt my TCGPlayer check even more. (CKD sells cards for really high prices)
Do tell me if there are any cards you think are worth including. Thanks for taking the time to look at my deck!
