Great deck! Chasm Skulker NEEDS to be in this deck.

I'm not sure about Skulker. It's kind of slow. And I don't have much room in the 3 drop slot.

2 Prognostic Sphinx in the side board for tougher matchups..

Don't forget your can Void Snare your Master of Waves which I didn't realize initially to get more tokens.

How about Illusory Angel instead of Crystalline Nautilus ? You've got enough smaller spells to run it. It'll stick to the table better than Crystalline Nautilus . Honestly, can you ever see yourself using Crystalline Nautilus bestow? It is way too expensive for this deck. You are trying to win quick. By the time that got off you already lost. Also, Illusory Angel keeps with the budget theme, only about .10 more a card and it isn't going to rotate. Also, more flying.
Looks like a fun deck. I'm a HUGE fan of womping on $300 decks with things that cost under $30. +1

Silight I have actually bestowed Crystalline Nautilus many times. This deck isn't really THAT fast. It wins T4-6. With a bunch of 1/1s and 2/1s this deck has time for bestowing. Though Angel is a valid option and I can see this deck running it.

Thoughts on Bident of Thassa ? It sounds like it would work well with all of the evasion you're running, plus double devotion for the master of waves

"I will never quit" This deck looks nice. I have been trying to build one myself because I don't play magic because I hate money.

Dude... I love this deck! I finally got some time to play test decks to see what to lay the hard earned cash on. As far as post-rotation decks go, after 4 hours of play testing, your deck is the clear winner! Rabble red was close, but this deck beat it 2-1 every time. I made some slight tweaks seen here Getting High on a Budget Slight Changes. But this deck gets my $$ spent on it. Well done sir!

I've built this deck and played one opponent so far. What's let me down the most is that Crystalline Nautilus , I'd sub for anything else, I personally just run it with Vortex Elemental instead of it being a sideboard item as cowboy_hippie suggests but his replacement is illusionary angel which I haven't given an honest try.
Random thoughts though, do we thing Fated Infatuation might be helpful somehow in this deck?

Illusory Angel I mean. Tapped out really needs an edit comment feature :\

LeBlaaanc, Illusory Angel has done very well in this deck while play testing. She drops easy with Ornithopter , Triton Shorestalker , and even Void Snare ! Vortex Elemental is the best cheap blue blocker! I side him in when I face a threat I can't handle. He's not very aggro, so he usually comes in for one of the cheap flyers. Fated Infatuation is an excellent sideboard option when facing some crazy creatures!

Excellent! After adding in some of sideboard options that cowboy_hippie mentioned I was able to destroy a friend of mine's deck even after missing some really stupid plays (letting my 1 drop attack and die instead of using it for Military Intelligence ). I personally was playing with both Turn to Frog and Vortex Elemental , and removed Triton Shorestalker and Crystalline Nautilus / Illusory Angel and it seemed to work well. Thanks for making my first "built" deck fun!

Ooh just FYI as I looked at this deck list again, having two Master of Waves was what did it this past round. I swung with like 45 damage amongst something like 8 creatures.

Curious... if I had $20 bucks or so to improve this deck any thoughts on what to add?

Oooh... and Hour of Need as a slightly more flexible Ensoul Artifact ? I always find myself with a bunch of artifacts but no Ensoul Artifact .

Hi, will Thassa god of the sea and more master of the waves fit?

Is the Darksteel Citadel just for the Ensoul Artifact?
Darksteel Citadel + Ensoul Artifact
