Phyrexian Devourer with Triskelion and Necrotic Ooze = instant death to the entire table. Mikaeus, the Unhallowed is a little better though with Triskelion , need to pick him up! Do you understand the combo Nevinger?

Took out card:Kodama's Reach for Genesis , soon Mikaeus, the Unhallowed will be added !

Dropped Voidmage Husher for Mikaeus, the Unhallowed , as much as I like Voidmage Husher , four mana was too much I found her stuck in my hand often.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed will end games with Triskelion and has good synergy with the deck.

i'm probably missing the point here, but why is card:Death's Shadow better than Krosan Cloudscraper in here. they're both 13/13 but the cloudscraper has a better chance of having a secondary use (like reanimating it)

I can play card:Death's Shadow for 1 mana, it dies, and I can pump my Mimeo up +13/+13 (by copying another Creature). I like it better than Krosan Cloudscraper for this reason, although I have to say I didnt give Krosan Cloudscraper much thought due to high CC and upkeep costs.

card:Death's Shadow's sole purpose is to boost Mimeoplasm. card:Death's Shadow has a built in 'pitch to graveyard' mechanism, where Krosan Cloudscraper does not. I mainly use card:Death's Shadow to make a The Mimeoplasm that is a copy of Simic Sky Swallower + card:Death's Shadow or card:Gaea's Revenge + card:Death's Shadow (21 hasted General Damage).

I see your point with Krosan Cloudscraper though because I could use him as a 13/13 beater where as card:Death's Shadow I must use in combination with another creature and The Mimeoplasm . Some thinking to do... but for right now, I like card:Death's Shadow because I can pitch him and get a powerful The Mimeoplasm out Turn 5.

I really need suggestions on land.

I want to reduce the number of basic lands.

Ideas?

Golgari Rot Farm , Dimir Aqueduct and Simic Growth Chamber could have multiple uses. Like resetting a Mosswort Bridge . Recharging Vivid Grove and the like. Getting a second use out of Bojuka Bog and Halimar Depths .

Cephalid Coliseum seems like the card to have in here. Maybe a Dakmor Salvage .

If you added Trinket Mage then he could act as emergency land search with the Tree of Tales , Vault of Whispers and Seat of the Synod . Or to get something like Relic of Progenitus /Nihil Spellbomb /card:Sensei's Divining Top/Sol Ring .

Yavimaya Hollow , Nephalia Drownyard , Maze of Ith and Mystifying Maze all have good utility options. Especially the drownyard. It stops Liliana Vess tutoring, or Vampiric Tutor , Worldly Tutor , Momir Vig, Simic Visionary , Academy Ruins or card:Volrath's Stronghold. Its actually surprisingly useful in many situations. You could also use it on yourself though. (and for a cheaper version you could turn to Duskmantle, House of Shadow )

Tolaria West is a good way to get the utility land you need (like Cabal Coffers /Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth /Deserted Temple )

Add Svogthos, the Restless Tomb ! Non-Basic Land Card, Adds 1 To Your Mana Pool And Becomes A Creature (That's Still A Land) For Only 5 Mana! It's A Must!

personally, i dont see Maelstrom Pulse as too awful good for EDH.

dethjakal, People play Vindicate in edh, but the Pulse can take out multiple Sol Ring s.

Maelstrom Pulse also kills infinite tokens / infinite copies of creatures, albeit at Sorcery speed - doesn't matter, will still Tutor for it against a copy general, for that one critical spell cast to win the game.

I have a very high magic IQ - and probably think differently about the game than you, but I am keeping Maelstrom Pulse ;)

Evolution Vat is too slow, and most of the time if my general is killing for an instant win, then he has Shroud or Hexproof and is killing you in 1-2 swings.
